I would not buy this again. You had to put the foam round tube inside the leather part of the stopper which was fine but I had to cut the size which was okay. The reason why I gave it the stars that I did is it doesn't seem to stick well and maybe it's because of the door that I put it on it seems to drag and that's the way it looked like on the picture so I've had to readjust it and put it a little higher overall I think the foam round structure idea will work for a door bottom that's higher than an average door if that makes sense which no one would make a door like that. So I just felt like it did not sort of the purpose that I needed it too I needed more of a flat bottom. I can't send it back now because I cut it to size so I'm kind of stuck with it might be taking it off in the next month we're using it on a door that we don't use that often but when we use it we need things to operate well I might have to go back and find something that has a flatter bottom overall, it did serve its purpose as far as not having a draft come in because we were receiving a draft so on that note that's a good thing.

Overall this product seems good for the money. Not certain why in the headliner and description it says "32 to 38 inches" when clearly you can make this door draft blocker any size you want. It really should say "up to 38 inches...." However, like me, if you cut this to size (which my door is 30 inches), where you cut the material, the threading will come undone . So my recommendation is IF you are to cut it, then make sure you put some sort of adhesive on the end that was cut so the material does not come apart. Otherwise, I am satisfy with this product. Also since the draft on my door was immense, I put the door draft blocker on the outside of the door and it works fine. So you can use it on either side of the door.

Item becomes loss and then its hard to close or open the door .

Put this under my son's door because it has a big gap under it, and I could hear all the noise in that room. The room is staying cooler but I can still hear all the noise

I just installed this door draft stopper. I have tried other similar products, and they were either hard to install or just didn't work. I'm glad I ordered this one! It was super simple to install and it actually works great! It completely stopped the draft under my door. I also like the fact that it doesn't interfere in any way with the movement of the door either. Great product!

I bought this to replace a bulkier draft catcher that slips under the door and has a roll of foam on either side.That one was a constant struggle. The foam rolls got stuck in the gap every time the door was opened or shut. It acted more like a doorstop. McDils draft blocker was easy to trim to fit and easy to install. Just put it on the floor in front of the door, removed the tape covering the adhesive and pressed the entire blocker to the door in one easy step. Glides like a dream. Highly recommend this product.

A simple but effective design.It was a bit long for the width of my door. I trimmed one of the foam inserts, trimmed the pleather sleeve, applied a bit of tape to keep the thread from unravelling (although I don't think it's necessary).Added the velcro to the bottom of the door, stuck on the draft blocker... all done in about 15 minutes.It sits on the floor under its own weight, so its probably not as effective as those rubber squeegee type blockers that form a tight seal as they scrape along the floor. But, I have a welcome mat so this blocker doesn't get push the mat aside when you open the door.It might be nice to have a version in white, but the black version matches my welcome mat anyway.

It’s very easy to install, just enough height from the door to the floor, just a little longer than the door, but it’s alright because I didn’t measure it

Not great. Sticks well, and removes surprisingly easy. Did not cover the gap well enough though. Bought a better one.

east to install, exactly what i needed for the draft from the cold room.update: been installed a few weeks now, working amazingly!!! definitely keeping the cold from our newly renovated section of the basement. even with the door opening and closing frequently we have had no issues with it coming detached from the door.
