Is there an SAE option?

The pins you can see at the bottom of the socket self-adjust to fit any size of SAE (¼" to ¾") or metric (7mm to 19mm) bolt, nut, or any other odd-shaped fastener within that size range. Why they say it's for metric I don't know, because it works just as well on SAE.

Does it attach to 1/4 or 3/8 drive?

There's a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter in the box with the socket that I received. The socket is 3/8" drive.

Does it work with an impact driver ?

If you're speaking of a drill you have to buy the bit that will fit the socket and drill. It's like an extra $5.
