Media Mod (HERO9 Black) - Official GoPro Accessory ADFMD-001

Works a treat, much better sound quality than the sound from the camera.

Worked well for my hero 11 I have been using this media mod with external mic and immediately I noticed an improvement in the sound quality.

Expensive for what it is, but sadly it's the only way to get an HDMI signal out of a GoPro 10/11/12

Well what can we say about the Gopro mic mod very good kit don't know how I used the Gopro before this makes it an all round camera We would like to give it 9/10

This Media Mod does not always work. At first I thought it was my GoPro, but when the GoPro is in the Mod it doesn't always turn on when I press the 'On' button. I try over and over again, but not until I take off the Mod and turn the GoPro on without it, does the GoPro work. Then I will put the Mod back on , turn on the GoPro and it will work. However, when I plug in my receiver and mic it doesn't record voice sounds just erratic noise. So, the audio side of things also isn't working correctly after numerous attempts till I gave up. Not happy.

Perfect for cutting out wind noise on it's own, with the included sponge cover or with a seperate directional microphone. Helps make your clips sound even more professional. Reduces the number of times you need to record the sound track on a seperate device, Ideal for run and gun shooting.

firstly let me start by saying this is a great product and i will use it constantly the reason for the 4 star review stems from my initial usage of the media mod, i was using just a hero 10 and the media mod as a helmet cam the gopro died so i plugged in my power bank but through the media mod as once the camera is in the mod you have no direct access to the charger port it charged and recorded well the only problem is that my power bank is not a 3.5mm jack and was not plugged in to the mic port nor should it be picked up by any other device as a microphone but the media mod did exactly that so from the moment i plugged in my power bank theres no audio being recorded, and if i was really picky it does feel a bit flimsy for £70+ but thats just being fussy, upsides media mod mic certainly amplifies audio well has a better range of sound upon reviewing the audio differences between the hero10 on its own and then the hero10 in a media mod i could hear distinct whines and rotations within the engine through backfires top end rpm's and gnarly downshifts my bike is not quiet so to be able to distinguish sounds from each other through an action cam mic blows my mind i love it, you can quite literally plug any mic in as long as you have a 3.5mm jack for it i'm currently running a gaming headset (razer) mic with a Razer 3.5mm adapter and it works perfectly (yet to be tested while riding) (side note this was an initial test the day i got the mod and i have yet to use an external mic and a power bank simultaneously if i can get audio while charging this review will be updated to 5 stars i just cant give 5 for a cam with no audio while charging)

I've been using the media mod for a few weeks now and it's been great. I would recommend for someone like me who likes to view the footage on a decent sized TV, having the media mod is a very simple process. I've also been utilising the rear microphone on the mod to keep mic noise down while riding my bicycle and shooting at the same time. A great price and delivery was very fast, so I'm very happy.

Excelente. Produto novo, na caixa (lacrada). encaixe perfeito no GoPro Hero 12 Black. Microfone externo muito bom! Microfone de lapela com fio funcionou perfeitamente, mas o kit película que comprei a parte só serviu nas lentes frontais, por ser muito justa, a moldura do Mídia Mode "estufa" a película da tela traseira (acabei removendo). Mesmo assim, produto excelente!!

It does improve sound recordings and filters out wind noises. Just make sure it’s fully plugged in, as it happened to me that no sound was recorded at all.
