I love my fire pit!
I’m really chuffed with this fire pit. We’ve used it several times and it performs so well. I’ve had dish fire pits in the past so was interested to see what the bucket design was like. For me it projects more heat because when you are sat around it it’s more at chest level. We used kiln dried logs and we’ve also used those pre formed tube logs and both have been great. We didn’t get too much smoke or falling ashes but I do have it on a protective mat. It was very easy to put together and feels great quality. The dimensions are accurate to those listed on Amazon so this is a decent sized bucket. It is a bit fiddly to clean out after but most are. It has a sort of grid at the bottom to give it more strength and the ashes do get a bit wedged around it. In fairness I just wait until it’s completely cold ( next day after use) and tip the whole thing into my compost bin. I then use a garden cane to loosen any bits that are stuck and job done. It’s a sort of dark copper colour when it’s new. It has rusted a little bit inside but that doesn’t detract from the look of it especially when it’s lit. It’s also a perfect size and shape for toasting marshmallows although I would recommend toasting forks as it’s very hot when you get near. Certainly you would want to keep kids at a safe distance . I didn’t have any problems lighting it. I set up some kindle and newspaper at the bottom and light that with a butane gun ( like you use to melt the sugar on creme brûlée). Once it’s going I add one log and when that’s going I add a few more. Within fifteen minutes you have a perfect fire that lasts an hour or so depending on the number of logs you have added. You do also get a raking fork to help you move things around once it’s lit. This isn’t the cheapest fire pit however nor is it the most expensive. I think when it’s lit it looks more expensive than it was and I feel the price is probably about right. When it’s not being used it’s stored undercover and in the winter it will be stored inside my shed for added protection. It will be interesting to see how well it stores and I will update this review should it not store well. I’m hoping to get many years of use from this and based on my current experience I’m really pleased I bought it.

Beautiful and not oversized
This item is beautiful and will compliment our garden. It is a good size and compact enough to be stored easily during the winter months.. There is no bbq tray but the metal rack from our grill pan fits pretty well over the top so we can use that. It is easy to put together - just 6 screws to tighten with an enclosed Allen key and the holes line up exactly. It is a good weight and sturdy. Can’t wait to use it when the weather warms up a bit.

Easy to set up, attractive and it works
Barely any assembly required, just screw on the legs. I put three old bricks in the bottom to raise the fire bed and reduce heat to the base as a precautionary measure, which also makes it a little easier to light. As with almost any fire pit it can be a bit smoky. I found it very easy to use; 2 or 3 fire lighters with some kindling on top lit with a long lighter and it starts very quickly. It’s definitely big enough for my needs. An identical model is available with a grill rack and a different name for slightly less but the supply time was longer and I wanted mine quickly. I cooked some salmon in a wire grill on it which tasted fabulous but this isn’t really barbecue, however there’s nothing to stop you using it as one. My daughter liked toasting her marshmallows on it. I made a top for mine to enable it to be used as a drinks table when it’s not actively being used as a fire pit and it also keeps the rain off which makes it easier to light. The poker it came with isn’t up to much but I use fireplace tongs if I want to rearrange the wood when it’s burning. All over I’m very happy with it, it looks good and works well. A chimenea is less smoky but wouldn’t work for me as they’re really for corners instead of the middle of a patio. This seems to be made from painted aluminium so it won’t rust and given that it’s not a flued fire should not get hot enough to have any structural issues as a result of the heat.

Looks good, just like an old fashioned brazier.
I looked at so many fire pits before deciding on this one. It was much bigger than I expected and I was a bit worried that it would need so much wood but actually you don't need it to be full. Even a smaller, lower fire is really effective and equally as warming because of the mesh panelling. Previously I had a chiminea type burner with the chimney but I have found this fire pit to be much better. I have discovered that to begin with, if you build your fire up in a kind of pyramid with smaller, thinner pieces of wood, you get a really effective, warming fire and can then add the larger logs as the pyramid dies down. Really pleased with this item and now my daughter has also purchased the same one. Looking forward to some lovely summer evenings with this going.

Beautiful rustic product
Really like this on first impressions. I can see why some comments are not happy about the tidiness of soldering etc. For me, that adds to the character. Everything is metal which means I need to think about how to protect it from rain over night once it been alight (see comment below and rust!) - hopefully that was just a one-off issue they sadly encountered. Size is bigger than I expected. Whilst it's very easy to assemble, I did have to get an electric screwdriver out to get one of the screws in as, by hand, the thread just got stuck. Overall, looking forward to gathering around this with some marshmallows and a glass of wine.P.S. I really like the idea someone has had of building a wooden cover to turn it into a mini table. Something the company could consider designing as an add-on?

Excellent - Look no further- this is the one.
We did a quick test on it before moving it to our patio to see if the paving slab would get scorched. It's height is spot on and doesn't do any damage to the slab underneath.Easy to assemble with 6 allen key screws, 2 per leg. Strong, but still lightweight enough to move around. We like the taller brazier design much more than the shallow Kadai bowl design. It holds everything in and the mesh surround stops any embers shooting out at you. This design compared with the kadai also gets much more air to the base of the fire, keeping it blazing.Very pleased with this purchase and it will get good use on those summer evenings.
