Casina Rossa Truffles Trio Pack: Truffle Carpaccio - Truffle Honey - Truffle & Salt, 3 x 1 oz.

I absolutely love this trio. I use the salt in a variety if cooking to give my food the deep savory flavor that is hard to describe. I've used the truffle slivers in hamburger patties I've used the oil they are suspended in to coat bread dough. Even though they are small jars, a little goes a long way. I've tasted the honey but have not used it in my cooking. The mixture of sweet with the black truffle flavor makes me want to save it for something special.

These are wonderful. I have purchased several packs for gifts, but end up giving them to my wife; so that I can eat the truffles, put the truffle honey on my toast, and the truffle salt on anything and everything. Buying these will make you a selfish giver. If you buy these as a gift, have them drop shipped, or you won't really give them away.

great variety for the price...the honey is VERY strongly flavored so use very little at first...exceptionally easy to overdo it

The only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is because the honey and the salt have "truffle flavor" which is not natural, it's created in a lab to mimic real truffle flavor. this is the same stuff they use in truffle oils which are an absolute scam and would never buy! The truffle carpaccio is exquisite and is the only item that just contains truffles and oil. The carpaccio is so delicious I had some for breakfast on whole grain toast and mashed avocado ! I recommend trying it this way 😊!! It's almost impossible to find PURE ie "all natural" truffle products especially truffle salt for some reason. But, for the price , this is a really nice sampler and would make a great gift as well!

Shipped fast. Exactly what I expected. Cute, small jars. The packaging was helpful for those who may not know how to use these truffle products in their regular cooking (it gives examples of dishes to use each product in). Very nice gift for the cook who wants to try more sophisticated meals.

I was watching a cooking show one day about really simple recipes that were redone by gourmet chefs and one of them was a 200 dollar philly cheese steak sandwich made with truffel butter i wanted to try this truffle thing as i have been hearing alot about it lately how its the food of the rich and the well to do in society and the sunbby people . I was expecting a thing that the gods enjoy in their sapre time but boy was i wrong ! This thing arrived and i opened the bottled and almost died the thing smells horrible like a mix between rancid oil and something dead. My god is this thing really a delicacy?? it seems the placebo effect is real my friends don't waste your money there is nothing delicious or special about this. i love mushrooms but this things is definitely nothing like a mushroom although they share a similar ancestry.

Salt: Summer Truffles and "Truffle Flavor".Honey: Is not truffle honey, it's "truffle flavor" and Acacia Honey.Truffle Carpaccio: Black Truffle(tuber aestivum), olive oil and salt.Smells great, but the "truffle flavor" I have an issue with. I thought I was buying authentic truffles, not some fake chemical addin. Most people probably couldn't taste the difference, but the fake chemical flavor is apparent to me. I've had fresh truffles at restaurants and they taste much better than this.Overall, I won't be buying again.
