Fun and engaging!
We really enjoyed this game. It was our first escape game (2 players); both adult and teen found it kept us engaged and the clues were a good level of difficulty. We played it over 2 days (about an hr each day) and reached for clues twice. Although we used the materials, the game can still be played again by someone who hasn’t played it and doesn’t know the answers. I’ll definitely get some similar games to pull kids away from screens. The quality of materials was very good; the enchanted forest story was ok, we didn’t really care much for it. The clues and riddles were fun. Used washi tape to stick everything back together for when we play it again (or pass it to friends or neighbors).

So Much Fun
I love these EXIT games. This one was lots of fun with cute characters and great little puzzles. I have played other EXIT games and this was not my favorite, but still enjoyed it and do not regret having bought it. It is a good beginner game and also there were some very challenging riddles which kept it interesting. When playing these games for the first time there is a slight learning curve. After you have played one or two you will better know what to expect in terms of where to look for clues and Solutions. They are very tricky. With all the EXIT games in order to solve the riddles you have to think outside the box, but also sometimes inside the box. When I buy these games I get two of them. One for me and I have one sent to my daughter in another state. We play over FaceTime and have a blast. It usually takes us two evenings to finish. This type of game has provided a great opportunity for my daughter and I to still spend quality time together. I always look forward to purchasing our next set of games. The developers have done a great job of designing a mini escape room in a box.

Just plain fun
This is the third time playing one of these exit games. The first time we (2 people) actually felt frantic because we felt time pressured and looked at the clues too quickly. Then we opted for solving the puzzles without trying for hints. This time we had three players and everyone wanted control of the wheel, or the puzzle sheets. There's always a sense of time frustration lurking, giving the game an edgy feel. This puzzle for novice level was simpler than the others with three stars. Still we managed to mangle one of the puzzles with our incorrect folding skills. And it was fun using some drawing skills as we all did some funky ones and laughed at them. And always remember the box can be part of any puzzle, but in very different ways. We just enjoy them more as we play them, as some learning curve factors in for puzzle styles. It's hard to believe the creative story line, the puzzles to solve (a great mix of obvious to nah, never gonna get that), and unique items comes in such a small box. Just plain fun for two to three hours if you like puzzles, a challenge, and cooperative gaming.

Mostly fun and clever game with a little frustration, but worth the time to complete
Our first Exit game. Completed it with my 8 year old daughter. We didn't do it all in one shot...you can pause and come back to it. The app feature with sound and timer is a good accompaniment. I think going forward if we get another we will have a better idea how to utilize all the tools and tricks. There were some really fun puzzles! The frog well, the goats, the leaf, the first dwarves were fun to figure out. There were others that fell flat and needed help cards to complete like the dress and the gingerbread house (which has more numbers visible than they suggest). Least favorite was the second dwarves in which we recognized the pattern but not how to properly translate that into the code. The end was hard to decipher with so little clues but very clever. Overall it was time well spent and picks my interest to buy another. I'm sure within each title, there are good and bad puzzles. It is probably not for kids alone. Game says 10+. I think its best for at least one adult/older kid to help walk through...and then even younger kids can be a part of the mystery!

A solid EXIT game.
I quite enjoy the EXIT games for the one-time play that they are. I'm not sure it's worth $15 for what is ultimately 1-2 hours of play, but they are challenging puzzles that generally make you think. Lots of fairy tale references in this one. The more escape games that you play, the more you recognize some of their little tricks and quirks.

Got me hooked into the EXIT games
Super fun. A bit of a learning curve for a first timer for this style of game. Usually clues for the first step are obvious, so it felt guilty getting a 'low' score. But super fun

Portable but challenging puzzle game.
Very affordable but more difficult and took longer to complete than anticipated.

Well thought out game
Most all EXIT gam,es are great family time games and they make you think. So go ahead start on easy level games and move up.

Shame it’s only to be played once (as you cut and write on the cards etc) but a cheap, fun game with just the right amount of difficulty. We streamed the instructions, timer and mood music to the TV and used a few clues to keep us going. Lovely theme! Our first exit game and will definitely buy more. Little difficult for our youngest (12) but such a fun way to spend the evening. Everything well thought out and neatly organised, plus a keepsake at the end. Def recommend

Bought to do with my kids after reading that the theme was the most kid friendly. My 9 year old was totally engaged and we managed to solve most of the puzzles with only needing a couple clues during the whole game. My 7 year old came in and out, but also loved helping to solve it when we had figured out the mechanics of a riddle. My kids play a lot of games and so maybe they’re a bit more advanced, though I probably would not have suggested it for them a year ago. Lots of fun and very satisfying.
