Olive Wood!!!
Olive wood makes the knife. Also have another model in African Rosewood. Prefer the grain in olive wood. Overall, well made knife, like Opinel.

Not the highest quality
I just wanted to mention that the knife is nice to look at, however, the product is of poor quality. The ring that locks the knife in it's place is rather flimsy. First, it is a struggle just to get the ring underneath the blade. Second, when I do manage to get the ring under the blade, the pressure the blade will exert on the ring causes the ring to bend, which may cause the blade to slide past the ring. Meaning, if I cut something somewhat firm, trying to remove the blade may accidentally close on my hand. I have an opinel knife which is similar in design, but, more robust. Would I recommend it? Not really.

Knife is okay; lock defective
If the rotating safely lock worked, this would be a 5. As it is, a 3. Prefer Opinels which work.

La segunda que compro. LLegó bien empaquetada, todo perfecto. Sencilla, ligera y un corte excelente. La virola de seguridad es un plus. La recomiendo sin duda alguna.

Hoja con buen filo. El pomo de olivo le da un toque estético diferente. La virola bloquea la hoja con facilidad.
