Finally found a board I like!
I have owned a half dozen longboards used to commute to school and work by board. I once worked for a skateshop and have tried many longboards. The Sector 9 Cosmic boards (flexy, fiberglass boards) have been my ride of choice for 15 years or so... until now. The Magneto is now my ride! I bought my son the 38.5" "carving" Magneto board. I tried it out and enjoyed it so much I bought the 42". While I like the 38.5", I'd instead recommend the 42" because it is just as maneuverable, has small kick-tails, and has a better overall feel. I'm a pretty big guy, my son is about 90 lbs, and my daughter is about 60 lbs. We all can ride the 38.5" or 42". Pros: - Great for carving! - Smooth ride. The flex in the fiberglass really reduces road vibration! - Stable. The lower center of gravity and the firm/slightly flexy surface makes for a secure feeling surface at high speeds. - Can handle tight turns (if you have the balance) - Nice look and hand-feel of the sanded grip. It also doesn't scrape up your clothes so much while carrying the board. I was not sure how I felt about not having grip tape... now I really like it! - Wheels, trucks, and bearings seem great to me. I'm not going to bother replacing them as the gains would only be minor if any. - Strong. I can jump on the board without feeling like it'll break. - The price is really reasonable for a premium quality board Cons - I would like a longer kicktail. I use the kicktail on tight turns or while turning while going slow. - It seems to get dings in it easier than my son's cheaper hardwood board. That said, I know they are all going to get beat up with use!

Great board for cruising; lightweight, strong, stable (UPDATE)
Update (5/21/17) After a month of using this board, I really feel like it's the best cruising board I have. It's really stable and it grabs my feet well. I can go over some pretty big cracks and bumps without it suddenly changing direction (which is really important because I ride with my right foot towards the back) The stock wheels and bearing are still smooth. Occasionally, I have to tighten the truck mounting screws. Magneto Bamboo Longboard (not the carbon one) This is a great board for cruising around trails and exploring the town. It's rock solid, not too bouncy, and very very stable while providing a decently tight turn radius. It gives a bit if you bounce one it - but my 180lbs doesn't bend it more than an inch. It feels nearly unbreakable. I don't think I'll be replacing the trucks/wheels with anything, the stock ones are very very nice. I'm impressed at the quality of this board -- it's beautiful to look at and it rides like a cloud. If I turn the board hard, the turning radius doesn't allow me to completely do a u-turn on my residential USA street...It's close, but I always end up in the shoulder and in the grass.

Good, Quality built Long Board for Beginners or Experienced Users
Very nice board, I bought it for my 9-year-old great-granddaughter for Christmas. She often wanted to use mine... but asked for her own a few months ago. I was very impressed wth the quality and look of this one. She spent about 3 hours on it today and told me it's better than mine. I picked it because, while it is a beginner's board, some reviewers found they were still happy with it even after a couple of years of use. It is well made and I'd buy it again.

Serious quality and value for any level rider
I bought this board for my daughter, who is an intermediate longboarder. I was very surprised to find this board (Bamboo Drop & Fiberglass Through Longboard) set up very well right out of the box. I had my tools ready to go, but found no need! My daughter was impressed- loves the look and absolutely loves the ride. She uses her boards mostly for cruising; occasional tricks/freestyle coming in second, drifting a distant 3rd. The stock wheels are a bit soft for drifting but great otherwise. This is a lightweight board for its size and class. It has a very nice and low center of gravity and riders don't have to worry about wheel bite with this board design. The flex of the deck is fantastic, offering great feel while still smoothing out the ride on typical pavement and sidewalks. I highly recommend this board for beginners through advanced riders. More advanced riders may have a preference for specific wheels/bearings, but even so, the deck and trucks are well worth the price. Keep it stock or upgrade to your heart's content- this is a great longboard!

Solid for the price
I have had this board for almost half a year now and I have to say that it holds up really well with everything you throw at it! PROS Cruises very smoothly and requires less effort for a longer ride per push compared to other boards I've rode. Stock turning capability is perfect for beginners and advanced riders. Easily take sharp turns and sliding. More professional riders would have to tune the board to their liking (which they should know how to do). The grip is no joke, no catastrophes or mistakes were made because of the grip. Could get tricky if the deck is very very wet though. CONS If you use it often there might be a inconvenience that may occur. After 5 months of moderate to heavy use I noticed a rattle coming from the wheels I think. I have yet to know if this is an easy fix or not because I'm not sure how to tinker with boards quite yet. All in all, solid board for the price. It would be nearly perfect if the price was cut by 10 or 15 bucks, but still, a very good board to put on your list and compare to others.

Crazy fun, well made and equiped board
Review is for the Hana 42 Inch Pintail Bamboo Longboard What an absolutely fun board. For a little background .. my wife and I used to own longboards her's a fiber flex and mine a sector 9. I currently own an Arbor mindstate. I started on plywood with steel wheels back in the day now being 62 years old. Great exercise and a lot of fun. Now .. Just went out today for about 45 minutes. Wow was I surprised! I didnt expect much for a complete board I paid $65 for but !! Here is my prelim review good and bad. The trucks are a no name brand but are excellent. Red bushings needed a touch of adjustment for me at 185lbs and not being the guy I was 40 years ago, and carving on them was OUTSTANDING! I mean just wicked slalom wheels grinding in hard backhand turns. Carves wonderfully and that was my primary concern. Trucks are very nice The board itself is a little dead but has enough flexibility to have a nice smooth ride and help with pumping. Board springiness is a personal thing but for me it was a sweet spot with enough spring to make it lively and help push the carve but felt nice a stable while pumping. If you are new to longboard or old like I am.. the little extra stability is nice to have. The board is concave and not flat across the top. REALLY helps push the turns and make it more responsive to input. I was able to easily get a u turn in about 15 feet of space. If I were a little braver I could probably cut that down a hair. Board is 1/2" thick. It is really beautiful and I love the texturing which is aggressive. Nice that it is clear texturing and not covered in black tape. The wheels are claimed to be 78A and while nothing is printed on the wheels themselves ..the wheels are nice, soft and comfortable and allow you to roll over cracks and rocks and make rough rode surface ridable so I have no reason not to believe they are indeed 78A. The bearings are the only down note on the board. The wheels barely spun from the box. I did loosen the bearings a touch and the nuts were indeed wrenched down hard. Before going out use the provided skate tool and see if you need to back them out some. Mine were screwed down TIGHT. Even after loosening They weren't exactly spinning freely but it didn't affect the ride. Still was fun. I think new bearings need a little break in so I will see after a few more sessions if they loosen up some. I will end it off with .. the skate tool was REALLY nice. Often when a tool is included for anything, it is a junk one use tool but the tool was actually very nice so it was easy to make adjustments at our little skating spot with ease. 5 stars is a touch high and 4 stars were a bit low but when you look at the package and then look at the price .. worth a 5 star rating. My boards were both $200 plus complete and this board carves as well and is just as fun. I do like it better than my Arbor which is now up for sale.

Great Long Board
I bought this for my 15yr old son for Christmas, and he absolutely loved it. Christmas morning we ran outside and had to try it out. Everyone took turns and we all loved how low the board rides and the smoothness of the wheels. Great glide and maneuverability made carving so much fun. Even on slide down grades this board just wants to GO. Material quality is fantastic. Craftmanship is high quality. Another nice longboard by Magneto. Nicely done.

Great Quality / Price
This board is great quality! W concave making it sturdy enough to bomb hills. I am most definitely going to be changing out the bearings / wheels / trucks. However the board itself is 100% worth the price. If these were a more popular skateboard brand, could probably sell for around $300 anyways with nicer trucks/ wheels. Not to say these wheels don't work, but the board could be faster. Shipping was very fast.

Longboard 🛹 for beginners
Comprei a longboard para aprender, parece adequada. É enorme e um pouco rígida, mas pode ajustar os eixos
