Heavy duty, this stand isn't going anywhere. I purchased this to work with my electric bobbin winder and it works great. It does not come with instructions but the box has a photo. The only thing I didn't install correctly was the bolt, which goes at the base of the taller post and the metal stand.

The YICBOR Single Thread Stand Full Metal Stable &Adjustable Thread Stand #27449M is a good purchase to go along with my sewing/embroidery machine.I made the mistake of purchasing 5000m spools of thread because they were cost effective. I first tried to 3d print something that didn't work out. I tried the cup method which sorta worked but was not reliable. I tried a couple other methods of guiding the thread from a massive spool to my machine and finally broke down and purchased this thread stand. I am very happy with the purchase.The thread stand has a heavy base. The metal rods holds the thread above my sewing machine, guiding it through the feeds.A disadvantage of the thread guide is that the base is cupped where the thread is placed. this cup can allow the thread to drop under the cone and jam up the thread feed.

Bought this for my odd ball spools that don’t fit on the machine. Works like a charm. Easy to assemble and no tools required.

So far no problem's . I love that it isn't plastic. I heard on review's that it turns so if I come across that problem I'll probably glue it.

The pieces don’t connect very securely, but it works.

This thread stand is exactly what you need for larger size spools of thread. It’s heavy base stays in place.

I really like this one better than some of the others because it has a really nice weighted base.

Now I can save money and time by buying bigger spools of thread. I love it!

All metal. Nice, heavy base & upright screws in so you don't have to worry about it popping out. Bought one for my sister, purchasing another for myself.

I put it together wrong and it still works great completely recommend works great with my embroidery machine

it does exactly as it says it i a good weight and holds all sizes of spools well worth the price
