Not what I actually wanted but it's still a good cup if any one is in need
This arrived damaged so I ended up returning it. It is a very thick cup with a really thick rim. close to and 1/8 thick. Not what I actually wanted but it's still a good cup if any one is in need.

This nautical mug is too heavy for use at home.
They don't tell you how heavy this mug is - apparently, it is designed to use aboard a real ship, not to tip over during a wave or a swell. Too heavy, not practical for home use.
