Capezio CG55 Oxford Tap Shoe Medium Fit

Great budget tap shoe. Soft leather but come up very small and narrow. Definitely size up 2 sizes for these. I would say these will be very comfy if you don’t have a wide foot.Can’t comment on the sound they produce as had to return as too small.

These are my second pair of tap shoes, I originally purchased some cheap ones as a beginner, and now have progressed to intermediate so wanted some affordable but more professional shoes. The difference in the tap sound has been huge, these have a lovely sweet tap sound, which is much easier to achieve than with the cheap shoes, and you can adjust the tightness of the taps to modify the sound. They are comfortable and the lacing system makes them quite secure on your feet.Overall I am very pleased with them as they have vastly improved the sound of my dancing (and confidence!), and have made it much easier to get a tap out of the more difficult steps, especially the ones where you need to tap your toe while moving through the air so to speak. They were recommended by my teacher and I would recommend them on as well.

Shoes arrived in time but didn’t wear them for long before both shoes split across the sole near the top tap plate. Seller was unwilling to refund or replace the pair. Shoes were clearly inferior quality.

Great sound and quality, but you definitely need to order a size up with Capezio. I put these next to my Bloch shoes and they are very noticeably smaller. I am a size 4UK and ordered these shoes in a 4.5UK, but needed a 5, at least.

These shoes are a delight to dance in. It took a couple of classes to get used to a lower heel. As far as fit goes they are right length but I do have a broad foot so find them a little snug, I'm sure they will give a little. Excellent service from seller.

Bought these for my daughter she is a size 4.5 in block tap shoes so I ordered her a 5 in the capezio and they fit her great. Really quick delivery came within 2 days. Good pair of tap shoes.

Good shoes, leather which is good, many dance shoes are not leather. 5.5 fits well, although usually a 4.5, you always seem to need a size up with dance shoes, which I don't quite understand.

Lovely tap shoes just a tad smaller than a normal size 6 for me but ok.
