Good price and performance Timetec 1TB and 256GB SSD NVMe PCIe
I upgraded my Dell Latitude 5490 by replacing its original 256 GB M2 SATA drive with this new one. The result was a substantial increase in storage capacity - I now have four times more space at my disposal Additionally, I noticed a significant performance boost, which is more than threefold the previous speed. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable upgrade. Update: I purchase two more to be used as portable drives. They are working fine in there NVMe enclosures. Update: I bought the 256 GB size to upgrade an HP Stream Model 14-cb116ds which had only 4 GB of ram, 64 GB of eMMC storage and a Celeron N4020 processor. Everything is working as expected. Update: It has been over a year since I purchased the Timetec 1TB SSD NVMe for my Dell Latitude 5490. It is still working well. The M.2 slot is only PCIe 3 x 2 limits the speed of the drive a PCIe 3 x 4, see the Crystal Disk Info. The speed is still good. It is a little bit different from the first Crystal Disk Mark that was run with the default settings. The new one was run with the NVMe settings. It has listed Read/Write speeds of 2,000/1,600 MB/s. It is great value for the price.

Not bad for the Brand.
Purchased before the price gouging. It works, plan and simple.

Reasonably priced tech
Inexpensive SSD used as a replacement to an SSD experiencing faults in my hp desktop computer. Very fast write time, and actually appears to be of a better quality in terms of speed and optics when using my computer now.

UPDATE (12/16/2022): From Disappointing two star to FIVE Stars!!!
I'm one to encourage smaller brands by buying from them ahead of the bigger, better known ones. Timetec, being a smaller brand, was no exception. The specs for write-read speed, the 1,800 TBW, the DRAM cache etc were comparable to bigger brands: WD, Samsung SN750, Crucial etc. Now, couple that with all the glowing reviews, and I was willing to give this one a try. My hope was really high on Timetec that I, in fact, bought their 3D NAND SATAIII SSD (1TB) as well. Installed the 2TB stick into my Dell Latitude E7470 with no problems. Installed my Windows 10 and booted up the system. Again, no problems. Then, I installed the CrystalDisk info to check for the SSDs health. And that's when things went south. Now, the health status read 98%. Odd, considering the SSD stick is brand new. So, I ran it again. Same thing. I got in touch with customer service. They replied promptly. Said it was indeed strange. I didn't hold this against them. After all, sometimes one slip through the cracks. So I returned it for a replacement. On receipt, I ran the same health check. Again 98%. I said to myself, maybe it's not a big deal. Let's see if the read-write speed is as blistering as advertised. So, rather than a 3,400/3,000 MB/s value, I got readings that were almost HALF that: 1,735.64/1,634.45 MB/s. Now, keep in mind, I mentioned earlier that I'd also bought the SATAIII SSD. Well, this experience prompted my running a health check on it too. Fortunately, it came back 100% good. I wasn't quite ready to give up on this NVME SSD, so I somehow tried to convince myself that perhaps the fault was with my laptop. So, I switched out the Timetec, for another fairly up-and-coming brand Inland by Micro Center. Specifically, Inland Premium NVME 2TB. Installed it. Ran a check. Health status 100% good. Enough to convince me to return this Timetec for a refund. Mailed customer service to share my experience and advised them to do a better across-the-board quality control check on this product. They replied with a courteous apology for my unpleasant experience. I would've given this a 2 star if not for their prompt CS response. That said, you can take your chances with this 2TB SSD. But off the top of my experience, I'd suggest a pass on this one ... for now. Hope this review was helpful. * **************************************************************************************** * UPDATE (12/16/2022): As you can see, I've upgraded the star rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. And here's why. The previous review (which I'll keep up to give you context) was based on the "old logo" Timetec. This is me, now, after purchasing the "New Logo" Timetec. My initial thoughts were: "It'll take more than just window dressing the SSD stick with a new plastered-on logo" to sway me. What's under the hood of this newer iteration? Well, that's what I was about to find out. My previous qualms were twofold: 1) The health percentage was under 100%. 98% to be exact. 2) Write/Read speeds were less than half of what they advertised. But, since that time, I've taken possession of a Dell Precision 5520, which has two SSD slots: One for SATA III SSD, and the other for M.2 NVME SSD. So, as I browsed through Amazon for a new SSD to slot in, I'd noticed Timetec had updated their logo. And so I said to myself."Hey, why not give it another try?" So glad I did. Trust, I ran a Chrystaldisk info heath check. Came back 100%. Same for the SATAIII SSD. Speed was also close to as advertised. Two thumbs up. Oh, and before I forget, let me add that the average core temp was sub 39 degrees (with a silicone thermal pad). Now I can confidently declare, "go get Timetec." They're an upcoming US based brand with probably one of the best pricing you can find in the market.

Excellent drive for my miniPC
This is a review for Timetec 1TB SSD NVMe PCIe Gen3x4 8Gb/s M.2 2280 3D NAND TLC 600TBW High Performance. I have a miniPC and it only came with 128 gig SSD but the programs (2 automotive apps) need much more space for the data. I began to search and I cam across this drive. I then researched Timetec and found out it is an American company and figured I’d try them. I am glad I did. This SSD has performed flawlessly and have been running a test and I have had zero drops; no connectivity issue and it is transferring faster than they report. Not a lot, but still faster. And to think, if my miniPC had only worked with my external drive, I would never have discovered this rock star company. I will definitely be ordering more in the future. It has been an amazing drive so far. I highly recommend this drive or any other that carry their branding; you will not regret it.

Not the fastest, but it gets the job done. However better can be found nowdays.
I bought this as a game drive for a secondary PC, and so far it's done the job fine. Nowadays there are better drives for similar prices, the value isn't as good as when I bought it. So I decided to dock a star. It's still a good drive, but you can find better nowadays. For example I was able to get a CUSU 1TB 2230 that can do 3650MB/s read and 3200MB/s write, the theoretical maximum of PCIe Gen 3x4 NVMe, and it cost exactly the same as this drive does currently. ($47.99) Warranty is supposedly the same 5 years too.

Steady transfer speeds. It's not the fastest but for the money it's great. DRAM cache on an inexpensive NVMe drive is very hard to find.

Ho preso anche una memoria RAM della stessa marca e sono soddisfatto della qualità

First of all, for anyone worried about the brand, don't worry about it: "Timetec may not be a household brand but is in fact a Liteon OEM - the latter being a Kioxia brand, formerly known as Toshiba Memory. So far from being a no-name entity, it is actually far more reputable and reliable than many of the lesser-known brands." Performance is exactly as described, faster than many SSDs that cost double the price using HMB instead of DRAM (HMB borrows your computer's memory while DRAM is a dedicated memory built into the SSD itself). The price per Gb of this drive already make it an easy choice, add the speed performance and DRAM cache to it and it really makes no sense going for anything else. Longevity is hard to vouch for but the testing I did on it shows it's a little above average, so I really can't complain. Amazing product!!

Pro: Price & reliability - the sixth Timetec SSD, (NVMe & SATA), SSD I've purchased in the last two years, none of them have failed or not met the stated performance. Con: None Recommend Timetec if you're looking for a fairly priced SSD upgrade.
