I am VERY happy with a pair of these scalp massagers! My husband and I have had a lot of hair loss issues, which we've read can come from a vegan diet. <:- ( I won't give up the diet/lifestyle, but I will do some of the things recommended for hair loss, and a 2-min scalp massage while in the shower (having applied hair loss shampoo) is working really great! The spkes on these handheld devices are perfect: soft enough not to hurt the scalp, but firm enough to give the scalp a good massage. I love the ergonomic finger holes for a better grip. These are simply THE BEST in-shower massagers out there.

Real good massager, not so much as a shampoo brush. The bristles are thick, soft, and rounded, but stiff enough for a great scalp massage. For instance, when you are sitting in front of a computer thinking of what to put into a review about a scalp massager. It is somewhat flexible, so you can mold to the contours of your head. It is soft enough not to scratch your scalp. (If you have an litchi scalp, this won't satisfy that scratching feeling you are probably looking for. Try one of the hard plastic ones instead.)The bristles are a bit stubby, so people with really, really thick hair might find it difficult to reach their scalp. TRUST me. That is not an issue for me. As a shampoo brush. I think it is just passable. The bristles are too thick and stubby to separate the hairs and loosen dead skin on the scalp. It also doesn't work up much of a lather either. They also sell a another brush that's great for shampoo that has a lot of fine, weird shaped, soft bristles. It is ok as a massager, but, MAN, does that thing work up a lather! I'll include a pic of that, so you know what I'm talking about. I recommend buying both. This one for massage, and the other for shampoo.

This product is gentle enough to massage my scalp when shampooing. I do not comb or brush my hair in the shower because doing so caused breakage. This item does a really good job of lifting up dirt/dandruff. I noticed less dandruff over time. I also like that I can use this for a scalp massage as well. It's a must have an I am a black woman with 4C type hair.

This thing is great. In concert with Head & Shoulders Clinical Strength shampoo (also purchased here on Amazon), this has basically cured my dandruff issue that has never responded to anything else. I simply put the shampoo in my hair with my hands and scrub away with this, and no more flakes. I'm very happy. The product itself is sturdy and well made with a pleasant bouncy softness to it. I bought another similar product a while back, and it was hard with small and uncomfortable bristles. These bristles are nice, chubby, and soft!

This didn’t work for me. The nubs are dense, thick and short and felt like it didn’t get down to my scalp. I suppose it will work for someone with little hair. I replaced it with one with longer, thinner tines and it works much better for me.

Absolutely lovveee!!. The bristles/nubs (whatever you wanna call them) feel sooo good massaging shampoo on to my scalp, which is amazing since my scalp is pretty sensitive and sometimes is uncomfortable just when I'm using my fingers. Ive also noticed that I hardly ever see dandruff anymore AND my hairs growing faster since it helps stimulate hair growth. Such a simple tool that's making a huge difference in my hair and scalp.

scrubs nicely and is not rough.

I got this because I had a problem with washing my hair too hard. I’d claw up my scalp and make it tender. I used this in the shower to shampoo and condition for several months until I learned the proper force and method to washing my hair. This scalp brush worked great and didn’t pull on my hair too bad! After I was done with it, I donated it to pass on the joy.
