Purina Tidy Cats Clumping Cat Litter, Instant Action Multi Cat Litter - 40 lb. Box

Hands down the greatest cat litter I have ever used. I’ve had cats my whole life and I usually get store brand or cheap cat litter cause I figure who cares it’s for cat poop.I’m a man admitting he was wrong. This cat litter has pure science behind it and I can never go back. Everything is so easy to handle, neat, clean, there’s no litter tracking around the house like I’m used to cleaning up after, the urine clumps so hard it doesn’t shatter in the scoop, one of my cats has a special diet because he’s in danger of kidney stones and this has completely eliminated the wrong ammonia smell he caused the boxes to have.It’s just, wow, speechless.

This cat litter has solved the litterbox odor issue I had been having for months & solved without a heavy perfumey smell either.While the litter works great with neutralizing the odors, it struggles a bit holding the clumps together making it a little more difficult to clean each time. That may bother some people but for me Purina Tidy Cats Instant Action Clumping Cat Litter is the answer to my prayers. I highly recommend this product if having excessive unpleasant, strong odors coming from the litterboxes.Oh, one more thing...having three 40lb boxes delivered to my home every two-three months is ideal. The shipment comes quick & on time...nevermind the fact that I'm not lugging 120lbs from the store to the house. This service is extremely convenient and inexpensive buying in bulk.Thanks!!

We are a multi cat household so a fair amount of litter comes in and out. Tidy Cats is an excellent quality clumping litter that has a lower dust factor. This particular scent is rather strong but not unpleasant IMHO. It is a cleaner scent like soap, not perfumy or overpoweringly artificial like some others. The clumps are pretty hard and easy to scoop.For me these 20 lb jugs are manageable to handle - I unpack them before moving them inside. The heavier cartons can be a nightmare to move when you have back problems. Also the jugs either recycle or have many uses around the home after they are empty if you are watching your carbon footprint.And a big shout out to the seller on the price - this is currently priced cheaper per pound than even the large bulk quantities available in cartons and buckets. Excellent value!

Had to order this thru Amazon when my local retailer was completley out of cat litter. Paid a very good price. I've used Tidy Cats litter for years with no complaints from me or my cat. The box could use a pull out pour spout. You basically rip off the top of the box with a zip pull tab, but the chance for spilling it somewhat high with no pour spout. Not for people with back issues as it weighs 40lbs as is kind of awkward to lift and pour out. For people with back issues, I'd recommend using a scoop of some kind to fill to the litter box.

I have had cats my entire life, so I’ve scooped a lot of poop. Tidy Cats is by far my favorite kitty litter. I usually scoop every two days, and this litter makes cleaning up very easy. The urine clumps tightly together, and unlike other brands I have used, it does not stick to the sides of the box. I can never smell any unpleasant odors coming from my kitty’s box when we’re using Tidy Cats. Compared to other brands, the amount of dust on the floor from kitty using the box, and also the dust floating around while I scoop is extremely minimal. I would recommend using this litter for both single cat owners, and families with multiple cats. My husband has also used it a few times in the garage to clean up car related spills, and it works great. I like ordering it through Amazon, because I’m lazy and I don’t like lugging it home from the store.

I have purchased this litter twice now. I thought I would never switch from Arm & Hammer Smart Scoop, but alas, I have! What made me want to try it out in the first place, was the price, $17 for 40 pounds of cat litter...you just can't beat. I also get about 4-5 uses from one box. Beware, it does require some lifting. I like that there is hardly any residue/ dust from it, it clumps right away, and the scent isn't overbearing. I also can see that it stays fresher a lot longer than Arm & Hammer. I was changing the litter at least once a week before, but now I can go a few days longer..as long as you scoop everyday of course! I highly recommend!

I only purchase tidy cats litter, great clumping, leaves fresh scent behind. GLADE is the way to go!!!I've tried lots of brands but now am sold on this litter only

I have 2 cats and one has diabetes each day she tends to urine quite a few times the litter soaks it up straight away. There is no odor once I clean the litter trays. The 40lb. was a little heavy but once I got it opened it was easy to pour.

This is an amazing product, the litter doesn't smell.

Great product, but it would be nice to have the lighter (less weighty) version.
