Very High Quality for price
I don't review many products, but have to rave about Akebono pads. I discovered them about 4 years ago when restoring a 1989 BMW. As all the bimmer nuts on BMW forums were talking about how good they were, I decided to try them, and now I'm a super-fan. I've also put them on a Civic, a Corolla and a 4Runner. Almost zero dust, quiet as a church mouse, and fabulous "stop feel". And I can also attest to the fact that they wear extremely well over time. I just can't say enough about these pads, and I am an unembarrassed promoter for this brand now - for me, its Akebono or nuthin'. I recently noticed that they also make pads in the USA (Akebono is a Japanese company), so that's even another plus for me.

Great Pads
I know I haven't used these yet as still running last pair. This brand to me seems to be the best. I don't care for ones that claim life time warranty as I think they wear out a lot quicker.

Don’t trust Amazon when it tells you the part is compatible with your car
The 1210A is a centimeter short. Amazon said this brake pad was compatible with my 2017 RAV4.The pads turned out to be too short - you can see the existing pad is taller. I wasted my time and money going to my mechanic to have them replaced.Turns out Akebono 1211A is the actual front brake pads for 2017 Rav 4

So Far, Good Brakes
I bought these brakes pads for my 2013 corolla S because I saw a guy in You tube recommending this brand, and so far they're good. they came with everything to assemble. Hardware (Clips to attached to the brake pads) and small pouch with grease which I didn't use because my brakes look very good. I installed them last Friday along with 2 new rotors AC Delco which they were very cheap comparing to AutoZone I found them here at Amazon for $28 dollars each which cost 55% less than the local auto parts, and after 2 days driving my car car so far i like them, my car doesn't make any noise and all these were very easy to install.

Great, long lasting
Akebono pads last a very long time and make it brake like a sports car. BUT, the squealers are extremely annoying: my brakes have less than 2000 miles on them and they sound like they're on their last milimeter. Can't give 5 stars on something I'll have to spend an hour removing so my car doesn't sound like its 30 years old.

Worth the extra price
The cost of both a quality used, or new car pushed us to keep and maintain our simple yet dependable Toyota (one replacement battery and alternator over 12 years). I installed these pads on our USA VIN code 2010 Toyota Corolla S five months ago. The Corolla had 160,000 miles on it when these pads were installed. No issues after eight thousand miles, highly recommended, read on for more. This is the fourth set of pads installed on the car. The last two set of pads and rotors (yes rotors replaced each time) were problem free for about a month or two until the rotors warped and the brake pedal would pulsate rapidly when stopping from high speeds. The third set of replacement pads were ceramic, and the replacement rotors were painted OEM Toyota rotors, same problem after two months. I heard enough good things about this brand of pads and decided replaced the Auto Zone brand ceramic pads and warped OEM rotors rather than suffer another 50 thousand miles between brake jobs. These pads and another set of OEM rotors ($50 each from a local dealership) were the remedy. Trouble free finally! I will update this review if any issues develop.
