Fenix E35 v3.0 3000 Lumen High Performance EDC Flashlight with 2X ARB-L21-5000U and LumenTac Organizer

What of bunch of nitpickers writing reviews here lol. OK, everyone is entitled to share their thoughts. Here's mine. Of I could give this 10 stars I would! This is a fantastic little flashlight with one-button access to all features. It is extremely responsive. I have no complaints about holding the button in for a second before the light turns on. The cycling through the various brightness levels is fluid. The switch to strobe is easy and it's got a patterned strobe which I think is awesome - it isn't just a steady strobe - it has a little twist in the rhythm which I like. You can check the battery level too. It is MONSTER bright - I have no idea what one reviewer was talking about. To me it looks like he was using the light on its lowest (economy mode) judging by his pictures. I go out walking late at night and use the light to give me on obvious presence for oncoming traffic and traffic behind me. Honestly I rarely need to go above the second level because the thing is so damn bright I'm amazed at even level 2 just how far reaching thr light goes. It looks as bright as a car lamp and on level 3 you would probably be blinding car drivers in the distant. I never had such security from a flash light. That strobe could be a defense weapon against animals or would be attackers. It is absolutely blinding. I have a great tactical flashlight that has other tools built into it that I was previously using on my walks. It much longer and doesn't have one 10th the power of this one. The tactical is now in my car. This light is my faithful daily driver. I absolutely I truly love it. The light is built like a tank - able to be submerged in water. I feel like it is going to outlive me lol. Highly recommend. It comes with 2 rechargeable USB batteries that last and last and last (lol) and plastic cases for them - what more could you want? A lanyard also included to ring it to your keys. I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase and the superfast delivery. A TOP SHELF product. Highly recommended!

Precision-machined metal everything. Insanely bright. Exceptional battery life. Comfortable in the hand. Everything you could want in an EDC light right? Wrong! I've had this one for about a month now and I've found it to be somewhat lacking in a few areas and I'll elaborate below:(1) The biggest problem I've had is with the UI/operation. This light has one button. Now there is nothing wrong with one button on a light with multiple modes but that is true ONLY if it's done right. To turn this light on or off, you need to hold the button down for a moment. A single short press while the light is off activates the battery indicator LED located on the button. A single short press while the light is on changes the brightness mode and gets brighter with each consecutive short press until you're back on the dimmest mode. In order to go into strobe mode, you need to hold the button down slightly longer than you would to turn it on/off. To "lock" or "unlock" the light (keeping it from accidentally turning on) you must quickly double-press the button while the light is off -- this system is flawed because the light will still have a pretty high likelihood of being activated accidentally while in a pocket (it happened to me). Needless to say, even with a month's use, this light is finicky and trying to get quick access to the right amount of light has been frequently troublesome and occasionally embarrassing for me.(2) This light is pretty chunky for an EDC; it's girthy and heavy (probably from all that metal and massive 5000 mAh battery). This being said, it has a great feel in my hand but in turn it takes up quite a bit of pocket real estate. I'm kind of a big guy so I'm alright with it but the average guy or gal may not be. This light also isn't a "deep carry" EDC light. The pocket clip is mounted in such a way that it leaves almost an inch of the tailcap peeking or of your pocket. Personally, I'm not a fan of that.(3) The lower-brightness modes have a greenish tint to them for some reason. To me, the light emitted resembles the hue of those old-fashioned mercury street lights. However, once you get to the brighter settings, the green tint becomes less noticeable.My overall opinion of this Fenix is that the body has been over-engineered and will likely last more than a lifetime. But the user interface is needlessly complicated and poorly executed. Personally, I'll stick to an Olight as my EDC. To end this review on a positive note, I will say that the issues I've had are mainly preferential in nature so you may not have the same experience. Also, the battery life is quite remarkable; I've had this Fenix for a month and after one full charge when I opened package, the battery indicator is still reading solid green!

Fenix E35 v3.0 3000 is a great EDC light. It fits in the pocket easily and the clip allows to light to ride low.The included 21700 battery allows extended run times.As with most high-output EDC lights, operating in turbo or high modes will have the light heat up. The head can reach uncomfortable to the touch temps. Medium and lower settings keep temperatures holdable and bright enough for nightly needs. This light will tail stand!But this one!

The media could not be loaded.  Probably the best flashlight I have owned. Feels extremely well-built, has held up to several drops already.Battery life has always been as issue with other, consistently coming up short of what is advertised. For example, I bought 2 of the same Lumintop flashlights, and despite trying several different (brand new) batteries, they both become depleted in just a fraction of the manufacturer's claimed specifications, indicating a fundamental design flaw, not just a one-off defect. That is not the case here. This thing can last literally for hours, and even the lower settings are more than sufficient for most situations.It can even light up an entire 10x12 room if you wish, but heed the company's warning about overheating at the "turbo" Level 5 setting; this must be used sparingly. It is so blindingly bright that it could *probably* be used to adequately neutralize at human or animal attacker, leaving them disoriented enough for you to make your escape (don't try this at home.)Fortunately, I don't have any children because this is one bright and shiny object which is totally unsafe (and thus irresistibly attractive to) young kids -- and quite possible also some immature adults (but, it's a free country, as they say... so that shouldn't stop anyone.)
