excellent quality. The best flashlight I've ever owned. A little pricey...but the quality and the charger that comes with it make the price worth it. Not the brightest of lights by any means, but it seems much brighter to me compared to other lights more powerful, because it's a floodlight style flashlight and doesn't have the narrow beam that most lights have. It still reaches out there plenty far, but it's forte is lighting up everything in front of you generously. I use it most often to walk my dog at night and early morning. I live adjacent to open space land which is semi wilderness and it affords me a very well lit path to walk on and when I switch it on to the hightest setting, it's extraordinary. I use it on the lowest setting most of the time. That's 170 lumens according to Streamlight and I'd believe it. I have a 6 D cell mag light that's supposed to be 134 lumens and that's what I use for comparison. Of course there is no comparison. The mag light is a monster. The Stinger is sleek and compact. Very easy to use for long periods of time. The interface is also a joy. One switch...you click it on and hold it to let the light cycle up or down until you find the brightness you want. Easy and intuitive without a lot of complication. You have the stobe mode also. The light isn't styled paramilitary/high tech like most seem to be these days. It's pretty plain by many standards, but in this case it works and I like it all the more for that reason. This is a great light and I highly recommend it

Very bright, use it daily at work. Lightweight and durable. Battery lasts very long. Also makes a great defensive weapon if needed.

I work in the pest control industry, and I use a flashlight daily. My old (cheap) one started to die, and I figured it was worth the investment to get a good flashlight. Boy was I right! This flashlight is amazing. The battery life is great, and I never lose any brightness throughout the day. I worked in law enforcement previously, so I knew it was a good brand. I would definitely suggest buying this if you are looking for a flashlight that works, lasts and never lets you down.

I’ve used these for 20 years. Only reason I bought another one was to have an extra in my truck. Battery last forever. Light works like it should. Used em in rain, in snow, under vehicles, in engine bays and clearing houses for suspects. Great flashlight

Great Flashlight

Well it’s bright enough to blind the crap out of somebody if you want to. Throws far enough for anybody. No idea why you would want any more lumens unless you’re landing planes in your backyard. Dropped from about 6’ when I first opened it so it’s durable from that height. I’m clumsy at times. Mounted in my truck and will be used and ready when needed. No idea about battery life so couldn’t rate that. Don’t plan on using it for hours anyway.

I purchased this as a duty flashlight. For the past few years I've used cheap Ultafire/Trustfire lights. I did this because the LED's used by Streamlight and Surefire were about a year behind LED lumen output production. Paying $100+ for a 100 lumen light vs $20 for 900 lumen light just didn't seem smart at the time. To update past lights (Maglites, Stingers) I've used Terralux drop ins which are a great product. Now it seems that Streamlight and other brands are at least in the same ballpark as to what LED's they use. Streamlight still uses Nimh/NiCd batteries (Like my RC car in the 80's) which is a bit of a disappointment.The case is built solid with a good feel. The handle is just long enough to fit under my arm when I need to write something and need my hands free. The HL beam pattern is similar to my other lights, but much crisper at the edges. There is a distinct area that is illuminated. The Hot spot is bright and large enough for what I need, while the secondary wide throw has good even lighting. The differences between Hi-med-low modes is little. The electronics (Not batteries) in my old flashlights were failing in the cold 20 degree weather, so I stuck this flashlight in my freezer for a couple hours. After removing the flashlight from the freezer it worked flawlessly. I give it an A+ for cold weather use. Overall I'm impressed and if it remains reliable, I'll be back for more.

Lampe rechargeable, construite de manière robuste, elle éclaire très bien, cependant le chargeur est mal fait puisqu’il égratigne la lampe quand tu tentes de l’insérer dedans. Il reste seulement à voir si elle va durer dans le temps.
