They are plastic. my new one broke the same as the old one. I ended up fabricating the mount myself out of sheet metal....works great.

Will this work to replace the emergency window latch in a e-pro 19fbs?

It did not work for my Flagstaff 27RKWS window had to order from factory.

How wide is the catch? Ours broke and is 1'3/4" wide. I want to replace it without having to mess with new screw holes.

This is going to have to be drilled to mount.
