Great Dock
Works A TreatAllows you to have an Alexa anywhere you want (within wifi range, or hotspot from a mobile)Will be great to take for picnics, seaside or just to have down the garden.Doesnt seem to impede sound quality.Only negative is when you disconnect the mains, the Echo reboots so takes a min or so to be ready againRecommend as that is the only downside and not the end of the world bearing in mind it will probably take as long to move it as it will to load up.

Good in parts
Great for using my Dot in the bathroom. However if you keep the battery switched on all the time it quickly drains when not using Alexa. Love the portability though so my compromise is to switch it off when not in use, otherwise I'm charging the unit up every 2-3 days.

Good idea but not without issues
Convenient for moving around rooms, outside use etc but usually loses connection when unplugging from mains and have to set up in app

Great piece of kit - don’t leave it on though
I bought this to make my echo dot portable and it does this magnificently. I use it to listen to the radio in the bathroom. However I do turn it off when not using it which prolongs the battery life hugely. I left it on once and it quickly runs down, which is understandable. Pleased with it though.

Great battery pack
Great battery life once you have given it a good fully charge as the charge it comes with last like 14hrs (it does say to do a full initial charge on first use but i like to drain the initial charge then recharge).Its really simple to use and it does have a bit of weight but nothing too extreme. Its a handy portable charge for her and it means she can be taken anywhere with ease. Oh and she isn't tetherered by a wire that can get caught on basically everything and knock her out.Although don't bother asking Alexa how she feels being wireless she doesn't know haha.

Great battery life.
The battery life is excellent, gives many hours of use, we use ours in garden and lasts all afternoon and into the night. It extends your use of the echo dot. One issue is when power cord is disconnected it the echo dot powers down and restarts but at worst it is a minor inconvenience
