I love a good milk tea, but buying the pre-made cans is really expensive. I try making my own at home, but it just takes up too much time when I’m busy. This stuff tastes very similar to the cans of royal milk tea you can get at the store, and is super easy. Add hot water to 3 teaspoons of powder and bam- a delicious drink. It’s easy to make it iced as well. You just literally pour it over ice. And since the water isn’t boiling, you don’t have to worry about it getting too watery.

I’m so happy to Amazon have this tea because the first time I had it was from a friend that went to Japan and this tea is really great when you drink it at night don’t put any sugar just one spoon or three drops of honey and it taste so delicious

The flavor is pleasant and okay. Not too sweet. I can enjoy a nice up of hot milk tea on a cold winter night. When I first bought it, it was priced at $9.99 for 280 gm. Three weeks later I was looking into re-ordering this as I have enjoyed it, I saw the price had shot up to $15?? It makes me have second thoughts about buying this. :-( I may look for an alternative.

This is the closest thing to the real Royal Milk Tea I had in Japan that I have had! I am so happy to have found this. The instructions are in Japanese, but from what I can tell you want to use 1.5 tbs (4 teaspoons) of powder to 8-10 oz of hot water. I also don't believe it has caffeine--I checked with Google translate and couldn't find the kanji/kana for caffeine anywhere on the back or front, but I could be wrong.The only con is that the shipping took 48 days to arrive--I ordered the item on 1/31 and didn't receive it until 3/19. I'm not sure what the holdup was--I also didn't see any complaints in the reviews in regards to this. Maybe I was an edge case.

Now the biggest issue is figuring out how to make the tea. The translated instructions say to use hot water. Do not do that! You'll get watery, nasty tea. Instead use any milk (I personally used almond milk), heat it up in the microwave/stove, and then stir in 2-3 spoonfuls of the mix thoroughly stirring it in. If you want it iced just add ice after stirring.

This item was supposed to be 280g size but I received 250g instead so that is misleading and disappointing. The taste is good but is a bit too "floral" for my liking.

Love the flavor. Great to have as an alternate to hot cocoa during the winter days. But I love it so much that I have it every morning instead of coffee. I introduced my friend to the product, now she is recommending it to others.
