Logbook could include reminders for additional input
There is no specific place in the log to include a few additional pieces of information I believe may prove useful if an investigation is ever initiated. These would include, 1) Time of day of flight(s); 2) Max altitude AGL; and 3) Distance(s) flown. I also include a general area description in addition to Lat/Long and City, State. All of this information can be added manually of course in the space provided, but a separate column or note on the pages would be a good reminder.

Just about everything you'd need
I ordered this in anticipation of getting my drone. With the FAA rules surrounding drone operation constantly evolving and changing I figured it is far better to be safe rather than sorry. Add to that the reminder to treat these drones as something other than a toy, it's a great addition to your flight bag.The first pages are designed to list the pilot's details - name, address, ratings, etc. It also gives you places to add Section 333 grants, endorsements, and details on the drones you own/operate.The actual flight log portion of the book lists expected details as well as some details that are specific to drone operations. You have dedicated spots for date, location, drone number (registration number), and drone type. The extras are what sets this apart. Notes section for specific details on the flight including suggestions for battery number, memory card number, etc to help keep track of usage and utilization for planned cycling of older batteries/cards and/or the name of any specific 'Video Operator' used in the event of a dual pilot flight. The type of flight field is also handy for keeping track of your planning flights, photo flights, training, etc. Next is a spot for time of day (Day or Night), number of takeoffs/landings, and total flight time The columns are generously sized giving plenty of space for tracking flight details and any issues or problems found during the flight. At the bottom of each page is a space for squaks - issues that need to be addressed like new props, battery life is decreasing, or other maintenance related issues that need to be addressed. The only part that I found to be unnecessary is the section for Day or Night. Right now, drone operations are authorized for day ONLY, so any night flights would be illegal. As someone who has been a pilot for 20 years, this logbook feels very familiar while also providing significant details necessary for drone specific operations. The only thing that I would add to this logbook is a spot for confirmation that your preflight checklist was completed. I created my own checklist that verifies everything necessary to safe operation has been completed PRIOR to firing the drone up for the days flight operations (battery charge level, controller charge level, visual inspection, verification of structural items like propellers, landing gear, propeller arms, and camera operation. The last item on my checklist is verification that the drone has been calibrated fully and has GPS lock to aid in return to home and emergency resolution procedures. While not strictly necessary, these preflight checklists help to ensure your drone operations are safe and fun for years to come.To address a couple other reviews, yes this is larger than a normal flight logbook at 8.5x11, it is packed full of details with generously sized columns for entries. it fits easily in the box or backpack for your drone to ensure access to it for each and every flight.

Very useful log book if you are a commercial drone operator
Very useful log book if you are a commercial drone operator! Just wish it were a bit smaller to fit in a bag and take along with me on shoots.

... just started using the logbook and so far I like it. I like the size of the book
I just started using the logbook and so far I like it. I like the size of the book, plenty of writing room and the columns are geared for drone use for the most part. A lot of good thought went into the book, good job!

Good product with good information to boot
Good product with good information to boot. Best idea to keep an accurate log in case the FAA drops by for an inspection.

I have made it a habit to maintain a log of all of my missions. This logbook is simple and includes only relevant information to be logged. Important note: There is no map coordinates for the planet, Endor.

I liked it for the most part but I wish there was more space for details about each flight. That space is smaller than I would like it to be.
