Works well for me..
Interesting that the basic model works better than the more "evolved" model, that's water resistant, rechargeable, but I would always have to set it on the higher settings to feel it and, after being stored, it couldn't be used immediately, when I needed it. I would have to charge it first. This one, the basic model is ready to go right away...and I can feel it strong'y on a lower setting. We definitely like this model...and it does help with the nausea I get from vertigo..definitely helps..

Best purchase of the year
My lifesaver, I have severe motion sickness. I wear this during any form of travel and it saves me from nausea and vomiting. I also have vertigo, this helps with the undulating movements. This is my second band, my first one lasted 7 years, definitely like this band better than the waterproof one, that one did not function after swimming for 15 seconds. This one is not recommended for swimming either. I like the battery option instead of the charging as the other band has.

Expensive and CANNOT be returned through Amazon. Customer service number is a vmail box.
I was aware of this device as a longtime sailor AND a scientist working with FDA for over three decades on new drugs. So, the fact that there was a clinical trial supporting efficacy was meaningful. Not so much apparently. Search "Randomized double-blind study of the Reliefband as an adjunct to standard antiemetics in patients receiving moderately-high to highly emetogenic chemotherapy" The reality is that the device delivers a shock to the wrist at a fixed regular interval. The shock is pretty intense and goes up to OMG! And the study seems to support that the shock has to be a lot closer to OMG than tolerable to be efficacious. 14-day return no questions! Must get an RMA number within then days....but we don't answer our phone at all (voicemail box). Also, absolutely no return option through Amazon. So, this is really a hard pass at the price point. Try a much cheaper variant as this thing is nothing special. It really just is a shocking attempt to distract you from feeling ill. Putting an elastic on your wrist and snapping it every three seconds is probably equivalent.

I’ve been using relief band for over 20 years. I will always have one with me. It helps me get through dizzy spells and a very bad vertigo episode. Buy it!! It works

Works for the small stuff
Works well for car rides, video games, and small roller coasters. Crazy roller coasters and choppy boat rides still need medication. You have to wear the watch kind of tight to really get it to work and the tingle can be bizarre. I’m glad I bought this watch and I think anyone with motion sickness issues should try it. But I also know it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

Absolute lifesaving device….
Absolute Lifesaver for our kid dealin with severe car motion sickness for years. This is the only product we’ve tried that brought any relief. Still goin strong after years of usage, with only minor wear to the watch face around the button. Great product, would recommend for anyone struggling with any sort of nausea.

Trip saver!
I bought this for a cruise because I’m very prone to motion sickness. I didn’t want to rely on medication that could make me sleepy, so I decided to try this band. I’m so glad I did. It made a noticeable difference, especially on days when the water was rough. Instead of spending time in my cabin feeling nauseous, I was able to fully enjoy the trip. It was comfortable to wear and easy to use.

Garbageeeeee
Complete garbage!!! the first day that I received it I was able to get it to increase in sensitivity by pressing the button through each of its cycles and at day three it just gave a very dull blue blank. Had the batteries changed and it does not help. The customer service for the company itself is useless.! I will chalk this up as a gimmick that didn’t work and a waste of people’s money.

I've used one of these before it's a brilliant piece of kit for anyone who suffers from travel sickness, I've been a poor traveller all my life I'm 74, and tried everything, this is the only thing that works, thank goodness I've been able to replace my old worn out one
