This is an excellent little radio. The sound quality from the built in speaker is remarkable for it's size. Obviously there is little bass, but the mid range and treble output is pleasing with very little distortion and no tinniness. It picks up stations well with it's aerial which doubles up as a wrist strap. Please note the following: The FM receiver is Mono only. When connected to stereo headphones the sound is mono FM If you record to an inserted microSD (TF) card from it's radio or from an external stereo sound source connected to the AUX the sound is mono. However, if you copy stereo MP3 music files to the card on your PC, the playback on headphones will be Stereo on the Prunus when this card is inserted! And the Stereo sound quality is very good indeed. The build quality is good and for the price of a pack of cigarettes this little radio/MP3 player is an absolute steal for the price.

The pocket radio is compact, cute, practical and easy to use. It provides a clear crisp audio and holds connection well and for the price I am pleasantly surprised with it. The speaker packs a good punchy sound which is a great delight and improves its functionality. Only downside is that it does not show battery status so no idea where we are at with the battery charge but I’m happy with a built in battery. Would make a great gift for all ages. Record feature is a great addition.

Great sound and good volume for it's small size, quite amazing. Handy to be able to record the radio when it's good and play it back when it's not so good.

I got this tiny little unit to put in my top pocket when I take the dog walking. I like the mp3 playback capability and thought the record feature might be useful occasionally although i know how bad the quality of recording these tiny things is usually. So I wasn't expecting much. What a surprise, the sound is far clearer than many small players I have heard - and I have heard a lot! Obviously the bottom end is almost - but not completely - non existent but it doesn't sound like a cheap mobile phone or laptop - the lack of bass doesn't hamper the sound at all - its well balanced with a smooth top end and a good frequency response which really belies its size and cost, not screechy or resonant at all.. I was very surprised. some far more expensive players I have owned also badly overload regardless of volume on some complicated loudly recorded tracks - so far this little beauty has coped with everything well. listen through a half decent set of headphones you could be fooled into thinking you were listening to a much more expensive item. The audio player is stereo through headphones, the radio is only mono but I can forgive that I'm sure. The radio is sensitive and holds tune well, the carrying strap doubling as an antenna. I was also quite surprised at the recording quality - again only mono but in an emergency it is more than useable, from the radio, aux or built in microphone. This little unit has an aux input via the supplied charge cable so can be used as a nice little speaker which you can record onto the SD card (mono only). Its very easy to use - a real rotary volume control rather than using the back/fwd buttons (which I hate) and a nice feel & look make it an enjoyable unit to use, the display shuts off after a few seconds to extend battery life, just leaving one indicator on. Its even got a folder + - control so you don't have to click through 75 tracks to get where you want if you dont remember the track numbers... Sure the battery capacity could be higher and the battery level indicator really isn't one - its just a light that goes out when the battery is dead (so I suppose it is in a way!) But really - for this price... it's brilliant. If you want a very compact good quality radio/player this is highly recommended.

It works, it's small, rechargeable & has a lovely sound quality, the split power cable plugged into the mini USB port also gives a massive signal, power & volume boost, so it basically works as an Ariel... Lots of features not use yet, but I love it & can take it anywhere..!🙂👍

It was a good little radio and I was happy with it until after 3 months the headphone point stopped working which meant it couldn't be listened to without others hearing the radio as well. That was the whole point of it so it's been returned for a refund. EDIT After leaving feedback, the Seller contacted me to say how sorry they were to hear about the trouble I'd had, and offered to replace the radio. The Seller was true to their word and I now have a second radio, which I really love. It's great around the garden and for walking. Lovely sound and not at all tinny. The instructions for tuning are clear and much better than the Roberts one which I'd purchased beforehand and returned because of the really bad interference. Really good value radio for the money. Lovely Seller as well. Only too happy to amend my feedback.

Radio worked okay but the recording function didn't work. Not the first time I've encountered this problem. Item being returned.

Beim Auspacken des UKW-Taschenradios PRUNUS J-328 mit MP3-Aufnahme- und Wiedergabefunktion (via Micro-SD-Karte, die allerdings nicht im Lieferumfang dabei ist) war ich sofort von dem schicken roten Hochglanz-Design und der Winzigkeit des Taschenradios, das gerade mal einen Hauch größer als eine Kreditkarte ist, äußerst angetan. Es bedurfte keines Blickes in die Bedienungsanleitung, um das Radio bedienen zu können: Nach ein paar Knopfdrücken konnte ich meinen Lieblingssender per direkter Eingabe der Sendefrequenz in guter Qualität empfangen. Dabei fungiert die linksseitig angebrachte Trage-Schlaufe als Antenne, was allerdings eine zweischneidige Angelegenheit ist, da man zwar einerseits keinen lästigen in den Raum ragenden Teleskopstab ausziehen muss, aber andererseits ist die Antennen-Trage-Schlaufe mit einer Länge von insgesamt rund 40 cm - hochfrequenztechnisch (Lambda-Viertel) betrachtet - etwa 35 cm zu kurz, was zu Empfangsrauschen führen kann; da empfiehlt es sich, gegebenenfalls die Ausrichtung der Schlaufe bzw. den Standort des Radios zu verändern, um einen rauschfreien Empfang zu erhalten. Am beeindruckendsten finde ich die Lautstärke / den Klang des Radio-Winzlings, der wirklich riesig ist! Dass aus so einem kleinen Teil für gut 20 Euro so ein Sound kommen kann, ist mehr als erstaunlich. Der Sound ist - absolut betrachtet - großartig und wenn man dann noch berücksichtigt, dass der Schall aus einem so kleinen, nur kreditkartengroßen Mini-Kästchen kommt, kann man das Audio-Erlebnis nur als phänomenal bezeichnen: druckvoll, glasklare Höhen und sogar ein gewisser Bassanteil machen meiner JBL-Bluetooth-Box „GO 4“ Konkurrenz (, die aber bereits doppelt so teuer wie das Mini-Radio ist…). Das man hierbei allerdings keine subwooferhaften Bässe erwarten kann, ist allein aufgrund der minimalen Abmessungen des Taschenradios klar. Der hervorragende Klang des Winzlings gilt sowohl für den Radioempfang (Musik und Sprache) als auch für die Wiedergabe von MP3-Titeln auf der Mikro-SD-Karte. Mitschnitte des Radioprogramms oder Aufnahmen über das eingebaute Mikrofon sind hingegen gar nicht überzeugend: Radiomitschnitte sind von einem dauerhaften Störgeräusch begleitet und die Aufnahmen über das eingebaute Mikrofon klingen leise und dumpf, was jedoch gut zu verkraften ist, wie ich finde, alldieweil die Aufnahmemöglichkeit wohl eher als zusätzliches Gimmick denn als Hauptfunktion des Gerätes anzusehen ist. Als Fazit lässt sich festhalten, dass das Taschenradio PRUNUS J-328 ein Spitzen-Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aufweist, das nicht zu toppen ist. Insgesamt ein ästhetisch gelungenes, kleines, niedliches Stück Technik, das wirklich überall hin mitgenommen werden kann, kleiner als jedes Smartphone ist und mit dem das Hören einfach nur sehr, sehr viel Spaß macht! Der eingebaute Akku lässt sich über die auf der Oberseite befindliche USB-C-Buchse laden, welche mit dem mitgelieferten Adapter-Kabel zur Aux-Eingangsbuchse für einen 3,5 mm-Klinken-Stecker am anderen Ende wird, sofern man das braucht. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!! Am liebsten würde ich sechs Sterne vergeben…

Uitzonderlijke radio ik heb er nu een stuk of 6 en geen kan aan deze tippen Het geluid is zeer goed de ontvangst is zeer goed de line in is zeer goed de microfoon kan beter De batterij zou ook een upgrade kunnen gebruiken maar ja voor 20 euro kun je niet alles Het voelt ook al is het plastiek toch een radio van klasse aan De grote knoppen zijn ook een plus punt Ik heb hier revieuws gelezen dat deze radio in mono opneemt dat is niet waar hij neemt op in stereo natuurlijk als je deze radio speelt met de ingebouwde speaker is het natuurlijk mono aangezien je maar 1 luidspreker hebt met hoofdtelefoon is het stereo als ook op een externe speaker opnemen met de microfoon is altijd mono maar de lijne in is wel degelijk stereo De ingebouwde speaker is zeer goed ik denk dat ik er nog een zal kopen

Ce petit boitier radio est tres pratique ! Capte bien les stations , le son haut-parleur est étonnant pour un produit de ce prix :-) :-) Format pratique et design sympa ! Pour la carte micro sd : j en ai mis une de 64 go mais ca ne passe pas ( non reconnue ) Alors il faut formater la carte fat32 et creer une partition de 16go et c est tout bon ! Pensez a faire des folders pour classer les mp3 car la navigation est sommaire mais ce n’est pas du tout redibitoire.👌 Le meilleur compromis de radio nomade avec un petit lecteur mp3 :-) 👍👍👍

EDIT 26 NOVEMBRE 2024: Dopo aver notevolmente ridotto l'ascolto della mini radio, dato che con un'autonomia di 15 minuti era più il tempo che rimaneva in carica, confermo che dopo 4 anni di vita e 3 anni di uso più o meno intenso, la batteria originale è morta. Non dandomi per vinto, l'ho aperta (tanto, non avevo più niente da perdere...), svitando le 4 vitine che si trovano sotto la copertura dei tasti/display, e ho tagliato i due fili della sua batteria ormai gonfia, che ho prontamente sostituito con una vecchia batteria di un iPod mini, che avevo in un cassetto, a sua volta sostituita con una equivalente nuova (comperata qui su Amazon qualche anno fa), in quanto - dopo circa 20 anni - non aveva più l'autonomia originale di circa 6 ore. Essendo più grande di quella gonfia, ho dovuto adattare la sua sede, ma con un po' di pazienza, sono riuscito a far combaciare nuovamente la parte anteriore con quella posteriore della mini radio Prunus e a riavvitare le 4 viti per richiuderla. Messa in carica e atteso che il led fosse verde; ora la mini radio è come nuova! Considerando che non contiene un hard disc e quindi necessita di un'energia molto, ma molto minore rispetto ad un vecchio iPod del 2005, ora la vecchia - ma ancora viva - batteria di un iPod la tiene accesa per più di 5 ore!!!! Quindi metto 5 stelle, se non altro per la facilità con cui ho risolto il grave problema, che ha portato a nuova vita questa mini radio, grazie anche alla buona qualità di costruzione e dei suoi materiali. Ripeto che qui su Amazon si trovano disponibili a circa una quindicina di euro le batterie nuove per l'iPod MINI, quindi chiunque con un simile problema e una minima abilità, può risparmiare, facendo come me, senza buttare la mini radio per acquistarne un'altra... EDIT AGOSTO 2022: Pur confermando quanto scritto a suo tempo, purtroppo devo segnalare che la batteria si è gonfiata e dopo un uso "normale" tiene la carica (con ascolto in cuffia) per mezzora...ACQUISTO EFFETTUATO IN DICEMBRE 2020: Tralascio di parlare dei tempi di consegna, sempre impeccabili, trattandosi di Amazon. Venendo all'oggetto in questione, segnalo che ho subito inserito una scheda mini SD da 4 Gb che avevo in casa, caricata con una cinquantina di brani mp3, formattata Fat 32: attenzione che con qualsiasi formattazione diversa da Fat, non viene rilevata la SD e se i brani non sono in mp3 non li riproduce. Comunque è tutto spiegato nelle chiare istruzioni in italiano (una volta tanto!!!). Accesa la radio, noto - non a mezzo di un indicatore che purtroppo non c'è - che è arrivata con la batteria sufficientemente carica, dato che mi ha permesso di smanettare intensamente per oltre un'ora; l'ho poi messa a caricare anche se non dava ancora segni di debolezza e, senza la dovuta informazione, bisognerà andare ad occhio, col tempo e l'uso. Una volta accesa, tramite l'apposito tasto ha scansionato automaticamente una cinquantina di stazioni, ordinandole dalla FM 87,6 ad oltre la FM 107,5. Attenzione che non si può modificare l'ordine di memorizzazione (peccato...). Quando si accende col tasto ON, parte subito riproducendo i brani della SD (se invece non c'è la SD, di memoria, non c'è nemmeno l'ombra); se si vuole ascoltare la radio una volta accesa, si deve subito passare col tasto mode, a FM. Verrà presentata l'ultima stazione che si era ascoltata prima di mettere in OFF. Sulla buona qualità audio dell'altoparlante incorporato è già stato detto tutto in altre recensioni. Una piccola chicca: per risparmiare batteria, dopo qualche minuto il display si oscura. Riguardo alla durata della batteria, confermo - dopo alcuni giorni di uso intenso - che una carica completa di 4 ore circa, ovvero fino ad accensione dell'apposito led, da rosso a verde, consente l'ascolto (con le cuffe) per circa 10 ore. Se si usa l'altoparlante incorporato, magari ad alto volume, sicuramente l'autonomia scende parecchio, visto il maggior consumo d'energia. Attenzione: usando le cuffie, ho scoperto che la radio FM è stereo (ci mancherebbe altro!). Viceversa, l'ascolto in cuffia dei brani mp3 della SD è tutto monofonico, così come le registrazioni vocali ( il microfono c'è, ma non si vede!) e i brani registrati dalla radio, che ovviamente vengono captati partendo da un segnale stereo. Quindi, tutto ciò che attiene all'ascolto della SD risulta monofonico. Il che, se si usa l'altoparlante incorporato, non ha rilevanza, ma con le cuffie, pare di essere tornati alla qualità audio degli anni 60. Ultima annotazione: il blocco tasti, attivabile col tasto "zero", non agisce anche sul controllo del potenziometro del volume. Detto questo, mi sento davvero di consigliarla perchè è fatta tanto bene e trasmette una sensazione di solidità non comune per un oggettino da 20 euro. Ribadisco il mio plauso alle istruzioni, perchè è più unico che raro di questi tempi trovarle così esaustive.
