DEWALT 18V XR Brushless Blower, Tool Only, DCMBL562N-XJ

I have just received the blower and after a few minutes of trying it I am impressed about the quality and power. Handles nicely and it's well balances in my hand. Weight is perfect. I didn't try it without the grey concentration attachment tube, with it on, I won't need to run it at full power, that will extend the battery runtime, this is a plus. This tool is going to save me time and pain avoiding using a broom in some cases. I was considering buying a very cheap blower but I am glad I bought this one. I have a DeWalt hammer drill that I bought over 25 years ago which still runs like the first day I got it. So far I have been very happy with DeWalt and I hope it continues that way with newer additions. The accelerator slider on the top of the handle of this blower is a great feature, it will allow to set the wind speed at a fixed point which can be increased for certain occasions if required, to the maximum 200 Km/h by additionally squeezing the trigger fully, then release it to revert back to the previously set level. You won't need to keep the trigger squeezed while using the blower. Noise level is not really accurate, because this blower has a variable speed hence it will change how loud or quieter it will be. The maximum stated noise level is 97 dB but at lower speed is whisper quiet wen used outdoor. All in all, a quality tool that should last a very long time, this makes it worth the £125 that I paid for it. Now for the delivery... The delivery person did NOT ring the doorbell or even knocked on the door... He/she just left the box outside. I just received the email saying it was delivered. The box has DeWalt written on it and shows the photo of the item on it. This is asking to be stolen!! That's Shameful Amazon, I am not happy about it!!

I bought this to replace my ancient Black & Decker mains blower. It's a third the size and weight and yet more powerful. It's very light, well balanced and easy to handle. The battery fits my other DeWalt machines and is long lasting. It has not run out on me on a job yet and I have to clear an awful lot of leaves. A quality product as I have come to expect from DeWalt.

Well balanced and put together but the standard 18v De Walt battery gave less than 5 minutes of combined usage at full blast .. OK if you have a spare to hand for larger jobs .. but overall does the job well and good value for money ..

A nice and powerful blower, not quite as powerful as the petrol versions but simpler to use. You need a decent amperage battery (5 amp or above) for it to operate long enough. A 5 amp battery lasts between 7-10 minutes of constant use. Either get more than one battery or the largest 9 amp battery which is expensive.

A surprisingly powerful leaf blower. Fairly light and easy to manoeuvre. You do need a good battery with a high capacity to use it for a decent length of time. Very good at blowing leaves and debris off my lawn.

I specifically wanted this model because it was very quiet and had a low Decibel (DB rating) and most of the similar models have a much higher DB rating and can be very noisy When the box arrived, very promptly it has to be said, and in good condition, all it said on the box was DEWALT DCMBL562N. Now while I'm a building surveyor and pay real attention to the detail, I would still state that unless you have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the DeWalt range, you are highly unlikely to know the difference between one particular model and the other. I was concerned enough about this potential difference to try and get through to the UK DeWalt technical helpline. I logged on to the website, selected the chat bot feature and it told me that there were seven people in front of me so I set a timer but gave up after 38 minutes as it appeared to be a fruitless exercise. I finally got through to a lady on the technical help line and while I did struggle to hear exactly what she was saying, I eventually got my point across and asked what the difference between the two models was, only to be told that she didn't know and the best thing to do would be to send it back to the suppliers! So, if you are reading this DeWalt you need to get a grip of your labelling system or put something on the Internet which clearly explains the difference between various different sub models and models. Yes, I did some research on your website but there is absolutely no clarity as to why there are different suffix at the end of each model and no explanation as to whether you have the right model that you've ordered or not. To confuse matters even more I've attached a photo of the model that came within the box and on the body, it states 97 DB! While most of the explanatory symbols on the default label are self-explanatory the labelling on the box and the labelling generally is woefully lacking and confusing at best. I realise that some manufacturers use the suffix behind a model number to ensure exclusivity to a particular supplier, but this is not clear anywhere in the instructions on the leaf blower itself or on the packaging.

Grymt bra drag i denna, över förväntan! Vi använder den för att blåsa bort löv och skräp från träden på altanen och trappen. Vi sopade tidigare och det tog nästan 30 minuter med blåsen tar det bara 5-10 minuter att få bort allt. Vi har 2st. 5ah batterier men har aldrig behövt byta batteri för det jobbet å då är altanen typ 25x5 meter.

Good tool for light work. Nice and light with good balance. A little heavy on battery but does what I need for small jobs. Bit louder than I was expecting. If looking to cover a big area or a lot of material, I would recommend going with a petrol blower.

Natürlich ist ein Laubbläser lauter als ein Besen, daher sollte man die Sonntagsruhe und die Mittagszeit respektieren. Ein wirklich starkes Gerät, das ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann!
