This is my first time using it but I ordered this a couple of months ago. I was surprised at how sturdy it is, and it does the job although you need more strength or force to grate the coconut. All in all, it was a great buy and worth the money.

This Grater is not good for grating coconut - may be good for grating cheese. It broke within 10 minutes of usage -- the steel plate is easily bendable -- not to mention its handle gives not of pain if you want to grate with bare hand palm. Its price should be $2 maxm..

The product is good. It takes a little while to grate the coconut, but as we use it, It'll get better.

This tool is great for using on fruits or cantaloupes if you're trying to scoop it out. Definitely a must-have in the kitchen drawer!

The photos of this product made it appear that it was constructed entirely of steel, and I had expectations that it could handle the task of grating coconuts. However, it snapped in two halfway into the FIRST coconut I tried it on. It turns out that the grater head is attached loosely to the handle by rivets and held in place by plastic.

It works. It's not too thin.
