I have used this bag 2x since I received it on Thursday last week. PROS: Shipment arrived exactly as scheduled. I prefer taking a later lunch time - around 1:00 or 1:30 PM, both times my lunch, including a drink, were cold and just fine. I do use a frozen ice pack to keep my lunch cold since I often cannot access the refrigerator when I want to get my lunch. If the holds up for 2.5 years that will be half the time of my previous lunch bag, and I will be reasonably satisfied with the bag's quality. The bag is roomy enough for a good sized lunch plus the ice pack: I put the ice pack on top because it makes sense to me since heat rises. I don't eat a lot of food, I would say my lunches are medium or average sized. The water bottle sleeve is adequately sized to fit my 650 ml OKO water filter bottle, and does keep chilled water very cool for an hour or so. CONS: The polypropylene fabric of the bag does have an odor - unpleasant but not terribly strong. I'm hoping it will go away after a washing or two. I hate chemical smells and would return if it was terrible, but I don't feel the need to return it. The zipper does not easily close all the way to the end: if I don't double-check to make sure the zipper is properly closed there is a gap at the closed end of the zipper.Overall, this bag and bottle carrier are worth the money. Just take the time to make sure the zipper isn't bunched up and is all the way zipped.

This lunch box is essentially a scuba suit for food. I stick one ice pack in and my lunch and it keeps it nice and cool for hours! My apple was not brown and my tea was cold! I have not used the water bottle one so I can't really speak for it since my water bottle is able to also fit in the lunch bag if I use "tetris" skills to place it. I work outside and the building I leave my lunch bag in gets SUPER warm in summer so it was really the perfect choice.I got the blue jean looking design and I'm very happy with it! Also it is easy to clean, just stick it in the dishwasher along with your Tupperware! Also fair warning, if anything spills inside it won't get out! I stuck the bag in the dishwasher and it somehow got moved so it was face up, when I opened the washing machine, there my lunch box was FILLED with water and not dripping through the material to the bottom. If that doesn't tell you how good the material is, I don't know what will!

This is my first time ordering a Nordic by Nature product and I am very satisfied with the quality. The neoprene lunch bag and water bottle cover are exactly as advertised in terms of colors and size. The lunch bag fits 2 Rubbermaid containers (each is 3.2 cups in size, see pic) stacked on top of each other with room to add a snack and zip up. The pocket on the front of the bag has a great zipper and has plenty of room for utensils and a cellphone. I’ve seen other reviews that talk about a smell from the neoprene lunch bag but my product does not seem to have that issue. The insulation is great. I stick an ice pack in the lunch bag in the morning and by lunch time my food is still cold.

I use this EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. The neoprene smell was fairly potent when I first opened it but it faded quickly. I didnt even wash it - started using it immediately. I take my breakfast and lunch to work during the week and tote my adult beverages to the beach on the weekend. I can fit 4 cans plus a frozen water bottle easily. Sand just wipes right off the bag. Even Florida humidity doesn't stand a chance. The bottle cover does just what I need it to - prevent my water bottle from sweating all over EVERYTHING. I toss it right next to the laptop without hesitation. I love that the bag folds flat or squishes down to fit inside whatever other massive tote/laptop bag I'm carrying. Y'all start making laptop bags and luggage, ok?? :) My neighbor ordered one after seeing mine - we love them!!

I bought two for lunch boxes for the kids. The kids loved them and they are really easy to clean. Had them a couple of months so I passed the return point and one of them lost a tooth (the bags not the kids). The kid and I were both disappointed. I contacted Nordic By Nature directly and explained the zipper had broken, recognized it was after the return point, but asked if they'd address the situation. It's three days later and I have a replacement. Really great customer service.

The pros: Seems to be a pretty good size and holds all I want to take for lunch, typically a sandwich, couple pieces of fruit, and a canned or bottled drink. I'm surprised that after 6 hours the drink is still cool. It is a has a good look and it seems to be very well constructed. Nice sturdy zipper closing and the stitching looks strong.Now the con: There is an unpleasant odor, kind of like moth balls, in my opinion. Leaving the bag out in the open several days, unzipped did little to alleviate the odor. I used it anyway, and the odor permeated my thin skinned fruit (which I had to throw away) but the food I had stored in a glass, snap lock topped container was obviously okay. And naturally my bottled drink was okay. Snacks such as cookies can be kind of iffy. I'm going to try putting this through the wash to see if that helps, but if not, I'll just accept the limitations of what I can tote and store.

Honestly only ever owned 2 lunchboxes in my adult life, this being this first one I actually had to purchase.Why this product is great:- Neoprene is awesome, I don't really ever feel strained on my hand because the neoprene is such a nice material- Neoprene being how its constructed overall makes it easy to push in Tupperware that I thought otherwise would not fit, but don't fool yourself it was a 9in x 5in boxed that has those clamps so past that, you'd be hard pressed to fit more.- Designs are pretty coolWhy it didn't get 5-stars:- Neoprene can keep items cool/hot, but in my limited experience it did not keep items their original temperature for as long as my previous lunchbag
