Excellent Product
These bread bags are a great purchase and well worth the price, especially for home bakers who do not use preservatives in their recipes. I bake bread frequently. These bags absolutely keep the loaves fresh, soft, and mold free. My most recent baking was over a week old when the last bit was eaten. Even this 'heel' was still tender and clean. I will sometimes purchase baguettes from the store bakery. These will get too hard to eat in only a day or so; totally unusable. I pop them into one of these Debbie Meyer bags as soon as I get them home (the box includes some extra long bags), and they also will keep soft for several days. Oddly, I have noticed these baguettes will mold in the Debbie Meyer bag in about a week, so I still won't get them too far in advance of use.I do reuse the bags and have not noticed any decrease in the keeping quality. When I give a loaf away, I give the bread bag with it and instructions on cleaning and reuse, so I run out from time to time. The bags can be hard to find so I love finding them so readily on line. These are well worth the price.

D Meyer Bread Bags
I buy crescent rolls from a local deli and they always seem to go stale or mold in the package from the deli. The bread stays fresher and mold-free longer in one of these bags.

Received two different kinds in two separate orders ...
I ordered these twice and got 2 different kinds ... one box says "made in u.s.a." and the other one says "made in china." I'm not sure how different they are, so it will take time for me compare. so far, tho, these seem like the best bread bags I've ever owned. since they seem identical, only time will tell if either ones work well.

Keeps my Bread Machine Bread nice and fresh !
I bought these because they were the best value for a bag(s) I could keep my bread-machine bread in to keep it from going stale. I have to say that I have not tried other bags, just these. There are a lot of bags for the price. There are long bags, for baguettes, and regular bags for regular loafs. Bread machine loafs come out tall and goofy, and they fit just fine in this bag.I made a loaf on Sunday and it's Thursday and the bread is still fresh. Not "Fresh" like store-bought would be after a few days, but much fresher and less stale than when I just wrapped the bread in plastic wrap or put it in a big ziploc baggie.I also used this for my store-bought bread and it certainly didn't hasten the bread going stale. These seem to work just fine for my purposes.

Beware of Fake bags
I got the fake ones. Haven't decided if I am going to keep them or not, as they are decently thick bags and will probably do. Don't know yet if they work very well. But my rating is low because these are not what they claim to be. They are obviously fake. Hand picked and packed in a zip lock bag and "made in China", these are not Debbie Meyers bags. The box also does not have a UPC code, just a sticker that was put on as an afterthought. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is usually a duck. They seem to keep the bread ok, but I do not trust that these bags are food safe or handled in a safe environment - since they were clearly hand packed and hand sealed.Mine were purchased from a third party seller and fulfilled by Amazon. This seller (MyHomeStores)has said that they are looking into the matter and have taken their bags off the market for now. They were also courteous and gave me a refund for the bags.

tried to love these bags
Cling-wrap is the only thing we've found that keeps homemade bread fresh. tried to love these bags, but the bread grew mold and stale within just a few days, as opposed to a usual week or two with cling-wrap.

Very Generous Size Bags
These bags are large enough for long or boule shaped bread loaves. However, in my experience they gave little or no protection against bread mold, forcing me to continue to freeze all types of baked breads, rolls, and pastries with Glad Freezer bags. No matter. I always have a use for roomy plastic bags of good quality large enough to hold blouses or sweaters.

Bakery Bags
These bags are great for keeping baked goods fresh longer and they are reusable as well. There is a line for vegetables as well and they also keep produce fresh longer. They are each sold retail in many grocery markets, however, in my area, it is difficult to find the baked goods bags in our stores. I was very glad to find these on line and found them fairly priced and client friendly as far as delivery issues.
