nom, nom.
very good nag champa. the sweetness is not overstated, and is balanced by a heady, spicy muskiness. this is not new-recipe sai baba, and that's a good thing... interestingly, it's got the pale brown/gray smooth surface like the old sai baba always had. i'm told this is due to halmaddi, which is missing from the new sai baba formulation. i burn a lot of goloka champa and this is a nice companion to it, the two mix nicely but both stand out.the sweetness has been attributed to the addition of jasmine, but i'm not sold that this is a jasmine scent, because "jasmine" is usually heavily adulterated. i don't detect that here... it might just be that this is actually good jasmine.big, fat sticks that burn for a while. definitely worth trying out if you like champa style.

Well worth the cash for this batch that I got.
The wife and I have been burning this brand for quite a while probably the last 10 years plus and it was nice to be able to find it again in large boxes. Please burn incense responsibly and enjoy. Take care

Not for those who value fresh air
I haven't burned incense, in decades. I bought this, on a whim, just to relive my hippie days, from the Sixties. After burning two sticks, I conclude it is way too strong. My eyes burn and my mind feels foggy. I am airing out my house now, with windows wide open, even though it is freezing outside. I have got to rid my home of that smell.I read that incense, in general, is implicated in health problems because much of it contains carcinogens and trace amounts of toxic metals. When you consider that this incense comes from India; its manufacturing is probably not as regulated for health risks as anything manufactured in the United States.Another concern about health risk is that the package does not display a list of ingredients; and so, you have no idea what you are breathing. That means you are taking a risk that some stranger, in India, cares about your health. I have decided that risk is a risk that I am no longer willing to take. So, I am returning it for a refund. Please use a search engine to read about incense and health risks, before purchasing. But even without a "search engine", common sense should tell you that you that fresh air is healthier.Otherwise, if incense is your thing, then I suppose this is a high-quality brand because any incense manufactured in India has got to be authentic.

A classic Nag Champa scent, with it's own uniqueness.
This is definitely a floral nag champa, with some spicy/herbal quality to it and a tiny hint of sweetness (just enough). It's got a great throw and doesn't fill the room with smoke. If you're transitioning from Satya's 'blue box' Agarbatti/Nag Champa and looking to take another step into your incense adventure, I'd definitely suggest this one.

Nice.
I've been told by friends from India that this smells like home. It is my favorite inscene and has a heavy palate of varing floral notes. Strong. Sticks don't burn really long. Smell lingers for a while and add a nice warm feel. Also covers other smells pretty well.

My Favorite Incense Brand and Scent
Beautiful lovely floral scent. Pleasantly powerful in a soft way, but not overly powerful you can't hardly tolerate it like some other incense out there. It works great in getting rid of my husband's stinky cigar smoke. If it can get rid of stinky cigar smoke and smell wonderfully pleasant while doing that, that's a pretty darned good incense stick. By far, my favorite incense brand and scent.
