My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George (1988-05-03)

I remember thoroughly enjoying this adventure book when I was in grade school (yeah, it's THAT old!). While I have always been a reader, I purchased this book for Grandson #1 because I thought that he would enjoy the story and it would also encourage him to read more because he doesn't especially like to read.Highly recommended for all "little boys" and for big boys who are still "little boys" inside:#LittleBoysAreAwesome

The book was by far worth the purchase of a hardbound book. I couldn't put it down.

Pretty expensive for a small paperback. Especially when the listing specifically says hardcover.
