Love this cd! Have bought several, gave to friends. Once again I think I didn't keep one for me & will have to reorder more

One of the very first albums I bought on Amazon (so long ago it was amazon.com not .co.uk)A classic of it time this album contains songs featured in Baz Luhmann Films at that time mainly Strictly Ballroom and, Romeo and Juliet (had he made many more film then?)Anyway it is an eclectic mix of great dance tunes, opera and the massive hit Everybody's free (to wear sunscreen), well it was the 90s.

Great Baz Luhrmann album, remember listening to this when I was younger and love the rendition of the song that are on it.

Excellent CD for life's advice......everybody should wear sunscreen! Thank you!

I heard this disc years ago, and left an impression with me, so had to track it down through Amazon.Of course ,it brang back fond memories, and regret I didn't buy it sooner.

If you liked the movies, then you will love this album. A very ecclectic assortment of hits that I can't stop listening to. I admit to skipping a couple songs every now and then, but mostly just play it through. Is it the music, or the associated memories? Hard to know for sure. Rent the red curtain trilogy, then buy the album. You won't regret it.

Heard Baz Luhrmann track Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen) one day on the radio and wanted to hear more so bought the disc. Great to listen to and with 17 tracks there really is 'Something for Everybody'.

I love baz luhrmann, i always have but didn't realize until i saw The Great Gatsby and how i loved that was the same for romeo and juliet and moulin rouge. The link between these films is amazing. This soundtrack will be a great addition to the other film soundtracks

Very very interesting and so real to life. Simple but true in many ways. Love listening to it on a regular bases.
