Works great. Takes some strength to pull off charger.

Operation is equivalent to the Tesla adapter, except for the tightness of the fit on the 1772. Takes a fair amount of pressure to release it - more than the Tesla. Also fits tight in the charging port, but that's a good thing. If you tend to forget your adapter, this is a good buy. I hope they make a workable Combo adapter soon.

This Tesla charger works perfectly. I like to have back-ups just in case.

Totally works on Model Y 2021. We, however, went through learning curve on our first day of use. Tesla evidently locks charging port. So when you pull your j1772 connector out, don't forget to unlock charge port before trying to remove adapter. I was mesmerized by stuck adapter... Did not know what to do... even called my neighbor who uses destination charger at home, he was surprised as well, puzzled... we wanted to call roadside assistance... And then, half an hour later, after looking at us for a few minutes my 9 year old asked "is this thing locked?" Sure it was ;) Good adapter I like it.

Not every reviewer reported the same experience, but this adapter definitely does not fit my 2018 Model X. As one reviewer who posted picture and commented, the shape of this adapter is slightly different from the original Tesla charger. When I plug it in, the car keeps displaying "Charge port latch not engaged" and charging current was only at 16 amp. This was confirmed by the charging port on car flashing orange light. As I pushed the adapter in further, the car indicated the charger was inserted properly and allow full 32 amp charging from a J1772 charger (flashing green light). However, the adapter is now stuck in the car. It was stuck so hard that when I try to pull it out, I actually fell and tumbled backward, like in a cartoon! Now, at this point many of you might ask if I unlocked the charger from my car: I DID! I must have pressed the unlock button ten thousand times and heard the release mechanism moving, adapter still stuck. I panicked, thinking I am going to have to call roadside assistance. After lots of jiggling, I was finally able to remove the adapter from car. Just for comparison, I plugged in an original manufacturer charger and it came off easily. I always shop for deals and believe in after market products. Trust me on this one: it is not worth the price difference. Just suck it up and buy the adapter from manufacturer. I now regret having to go through the trouble of returning this flawed product, and worry that I might have caused permanent physical damage to my car

Delivery was spot on, came next day as indicated when I placed the order. Product appears to be high quality and works fine at the amps I tested up to 48 amps. Only reason I gave it a 4 is the fit was extremely tight going into the car, the portion that connects to the J1772 fits perfectly. I took my orbital sander with a 320 sanding pad on it and spent several minutes going around the outside of the portion that slides into the car, it works perfectly now. If the fit was like that when it was delivered the product would be a 5.

This is a perfect fit to my 2020 model 3 car charger. I did see that some people said that it would get stuck into the car and then it wouldn’t come out and we’ve never had any those issues with thisn. and it’s really easy to use there is a little latch on the side so perhaps the people that wrote the review previously had an older version or there was an issue with the latch but it's simply unlock it I use it all the time at free chargers and this is a really really good alternative to the Chademo charger because that charger is like 200 bucks... Way too expensive for me!

Product looks solid and of good quality but it doesn’t suit my Tesla M3 charge port.

I bought this adaptor for my new Tesla Model 3 with a Type 2 charging port. I bought it as some of the local EV chargers in my area are J1772 only. The ad for this product did clearly state that it was compatible with all models of Tesla, including the model 3, but it is not. As soon as it arrived and I opened it, it was clear it was not compatible at all. You can see from the pics that this adaptor just will not fit at all. Not sure it will work on an earlier model X or S, but I very much doubt it. I do not recommend this product.

純正アダプタでは無いが、そもそも利用頻度がさほどたかくは無いし比較的良いレビューが多いので注文してみた。 造りは堅牢で重量感もあり使用に際しては全く問題ないようだ。高級感さえある 外出先で普通充電に頼ってテスラを充電しなければならない時に大変有用だと思う。 この価格ならば常に常備しておくのが良いかと思う。
