Rare Rattail Cactus - Aporocactus - Very Easy to Grow - 4" Hanging Basket Pot from jmbamboo

I liked that the product came in very good condition. The soil was dry which was to be expected as a cactus needs to be dry. The cactus has several limbs and the overall health of the plant was in excellent condition. It has been about three weeks since I placed in its new home and it appears that the ends of the limbs are starting to lengthen already with new baby limbs sprouting.

Rattail cactus came well packed. Nice and green. Good size. More than expected. I had a giant one for over 30 years that died off quickly. However I was lucky to have propagated about 30 pieces before the end.Very happy. The plastic part for hanging was cut off by me.

The plant is a decent size, I’m happy with the condition of the cactus regardless of the rotted chunk in with the pot. But the shipping was awful, there’s no easy way to open it which I would be completely fine with- better safe than sorry. But the measures taken were completely ineffective. There was dirt all strewn throughout the box, the pot was half empty, the plant was completely uprooted, & the pot hanger was super bent out of shape from the way it was crammed into the box. It was ridiculous. I would buy again, I do think the plant is worth it, but if I had faith that the seller would get it together with their shipping procedure. Which I don’t.

I always wanted to grow a rat tail cactus, so here goes.

As you can see, what I received in the mail and what was represented in the listing, are two completely different plants. I didn't expect a huge cactus with long tails, but I did expect at least a few inches of growth. So disappointed.

Healthy. So far so good 😊. Delv quickly 👍
