Great quality!
These are great! I wanted 10x42 binoculars for wildlife watching and hiking trips. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for recreational use, nor did I want something heavy in my hiking backpack. I am very pleased with the quality of these binoculars. The lenses are clean, and I have a bright, crisp image. I cannot believe how inexpensive they are. They may not be the absolute best but I'm happy and am buying more as gifts.

Worked as well as my husband's pricey pair of binoculars
I bought these for my teen son as he was going with his dad to Lambeau Field for the first time. And, while he didn't really need them for the game, when I was testing them out to see if they were worth the money, they tested as good as my husband's $300 pair from Vortex.

Very inexpensive - But you get what you pay for
If you own - or have ever used - a set of quality binoculars, you won’t like these. But if you haven’t, or if you aren’t very particular, or just don’t want to spend much, these might fit your needs. In any case, they are very inexpensive.Decent “quality” binoculars, e.g. Nikon, etc, will cost 10x what these do. And top-shelf “alpha” binoculars such as Swarovski will cost 100x. It really comes down to your ability to see the difference (no pun intended), your intended use, and of course your budget. Comparing this to something like wine, if you are satisfied with a $5 bottle, you would be wasting your money on a $500 bottle. But if you can’t stand the taste of the $5 bottle....I own several sets of high quality binoculars of several brands, so have a good basis for comparison. I decided to give these a try for several reasons: I wanted something to compare against at the low end to see if my more expensive sets were truly justified, and I also wanted to get a set that I could leave on the boat or in the glove compartment for occasional use - the idea being that even mediocre binoculars would be better than no binoculars at times. What did I find? These are lightweight and compact for their size (10x42). The included case is decentI compared them to my Meopta 10x32s, but didn’t notice that they were any brighter, despite the larger objective lens. They don’t focus very closely at all - closest distance must be 30’ or more. Several birds I tried to see were closer than that.Focus mechanism is very sloppy feeling. Just not pleasant to useAnd the thing I like the very least is their long eye relief, i.e. the distance your eyes need to be from the back lenses. Even with the eye cups fully extended, I still need to hold these away from my face a bit otherwise much of my vision includes those annoying black areas around the edges.Neither my spouse nor I found these binoculars satisfactory for general use. But for the price, I’m going to keep them on the boat for occasion use in situations where I might not have brought a good set along.
