Micro Balance EC3 Liquid Laundry Additive

I use this for washing all my clothes. I have had exposure to mold and this has definitely helped. It does not have any lasting smell on my clothes and I actually feel my clothes are cleaner and smell better with using this product.

Does a good job. Clothes smell better, seem cleaner.

Gets rid of all mold, fantastic.

I liked the product and it did help my musty-smelling towels. For the amount I have to use, I just wish it were not quite so expensive.

We went to Costa Rica for holiday, and the hotel rooms (the whole place frankly) smelled like mold. It was terrible. We came home and washed our clothes 4x and the smell wouldn’t go away… it didn’t even lessen. I tried non toxic detergent, toxic detergent, vinegar etc. I finally remembered I had bought this stuff and within one wash- 90% of the smell was gone. It says to put it in and let it sit in the water for an hour for really bad smells- I am doing that now and confident everything will be back to normal. So thankful for this product.

I love this product for cleaning my washing machine. I'm very sensitive to smells and the scent from this product is very soothing. I've been using vinegar to clean my washer tub on a Tub Clean cycle, and I'm going to alternate with this product. It definitely diminishes any washer mildew/musty smell. It is expensive ($30 for 32 oz), but definitely worth the purchase if you use it on an intermittent basis for cleaning the Tub.

We just recently left one moldy house to run right into another house with even more mold! I swear I'm cursed by mold. Stachybochtus almost killed me 10 years ago so this isn't a joke whatsoever to me. Especially given I'm allergic to mold on top of it. My body is basically a walking mold alarm. I think many people don't know what mold spores on clothes actually look like. You hear "mold spore" and automatically assume it's a tiny round visibly undetectable particle you can't see. Mold sores look like dust! Your clothes will look dusty even after washing them. Almost like you need to take a lint roller to them or like they're covered in fiberglass particles. Nope, just mold. But nonetheless this stuff WORKS. In just one load your clothes will be rinsed away from mold spores. I think it definitely has a lot to do with the tea tree oil because when I was breaking out in hives due to mold poisoning, tea tree oil was the only thing that would make the hives stop burning and itching and actually go away. The doctors threw steroids, steroid creams, hydrocortisone, antidepressants, antihistamines and even pain pills to try and treat my mold induced hives. But long behold the miracle of tea tree oil. This stuff legitimately saved my life. And this laundry additive is phenomenal. All the dusty mold spores are completely gone. My only issue is that using 3oz a load this stuff is pretty pricey. That's about 12 loads. I'm halfway through my clothes and probably need 2 more bottles. But I guess roughly $120 to save all your clothes and textiles from mold isn't that ridiculous given how much clothes cost. I do wish they would come down on the price because the people actually needing to use this are already on their wits end dealing with the health issues and repercussions of EVIL MOLD. I pray all of you going through this find the light at the end of the tunnel. It took me 5 years to fully heal from stachybochtus and then I moved right into another water damaged moldy rental, and ran away right into another moldy rental with one of the the nastiest, dirtiest, moldiest air ducts I've ever seen in my life. So word from the mold-poisoned wise...get your air ducts cleaned regularly, check for water damage (last place had it behind and underneath the washing machine), keep air purifiers going nonstop, get a dehumidifier if living in humid weather, and for the love of all things...get your rentals homes and apartments inspected before moving into them!

We are family that has gone through the nightmare of mold in our home, and mold made our daughter extremely I'll. We sold our house, got rid of most belongings, but anything that we could wash like clothing and towels was washed multiple times with Borax, detergent, and EC3. I actually picked out and bought my new washing machine by making sure it had the special fabric softener dispenser cup so that I could use EC3 in the rinse cycle. It gives me so much peace if mind knowing that our clothing and fabrics are CLEAN and don't have lingering, invisible mycotoxins making us sick. If people only knew what was on their clothing!!! Anyway, my only complaint is the price. I use 2 Oz per wash and that only gets me 16 loads of laundry... so I end having to ration it for stuff that i know for sure is contaminated. I wish it was cheaper though because then I would definitely use it on every load of laundry!
