This set is high quality
The tools are not cheap fit perfectly not lose at all. The springs on the valves are strong I haven't installed any valves yet will be doing that soon. Doubt ill ever use the large size never seen ones that big. Nice little set I agree with others replace both valves anytime you discharge a system. Nothing worse than a leaking valve with refrigerant only getting lot more expensive. The days of $1.99 for a can of R-134 are over.

Multiple options
Used this kit to repair a 2008 Ford Taurus air conditioner. Sealed really well.Quality was on par with local automotive store. The difference was the cost. Autoparts store wanted $40 buck for one low and high pressure valve. I got this kit for a similar price.Update: it’s been 1 year now and valves are still sealing perfectly!

'93 Camry High Side
Made the effort to do a proper transition from R12 to R134a late winter of this year (2020) while working with a dealership master technician who identified the leaks. My backyard mechanic skills finally had me with frigid A/C by April, but the mechanic warned there might be a minuscule leak on the retrofitted high side port. Early June the unfortunate "hissing" sound emerged from the vents and the day's commute turned into a hot Arizona mess. After diagnosing the problem (thanks to me fiddling too hard with the high side valve and a gauge manifold), I knew the problem wasn't the retrofit, but the valve core! 2 days later I receive this bundle of goodies and was ecstatic how easy the supplied tool backed out the culprit. Compared original core to this kit and found the match. 4 weeks later, after 20 days of 110°F+ temps, my A/C is blowing <40°F. Kit highly recommended for OBD1s and the variety for newer vehicles.
