I don’t have a problem put switch on and off it rotates

Yes. You can have the carousel lit up and moving with or without the music on. You can also turn the music up and down.

Q: Does it have a choice of xmas music and classic music for the rest of the year?

You can press a button to change the music, Music is lovely try it and buy it, everyone is different to what they like, my father in law loves it he bought one from Costco last yeaŕ which costs £150. He loves it that much that he was prepared to pay more from Amazon this year it costs £228.99 . Lots of detail in the Marquee beautiful. I think this item will be hard to find again and I'm sure it will be more expensive beautiful and worth every penny.
