Aqua Filter Fluidized Bed - Rainbow Lifeguard model 900 fluidized bed filter

I understand why they discontinued this item. standing close to 3 feet tall it really weighs to much to hang on the back of a tank and too tall to put in an under tank sump. With 3 of the smaller units you get the same amount of filtration. the smaller units are built to stand alone or be plumbed inline as well as be ran off of one pump. they are light enough you can hang 3 of them on the back of a tank and being 20 inches tall you can easily place them in an under tank sump. The smaller 300 units are all that are available the 600 and 900 versions have been discontinued from everything I can find I bought the last one here! The cost is a little higher on the 3 smaller units verse the cost of one of the bigger units but the versatility of the smaller units can match and exceed the filtration capacity of the bigger units and are much easier to use universally. The smaller unit will work on tanks up to 300 gallons. Not many people are going to need more than one or two units for their entire system.
