Overall a great lead, gives good distance on walks, is more than strong enough for our zoomy excitable Staffie x Whippet, and is easy to lock. My only 2 complaints about this lead are that A. Sometimes the lock catches and gets stuck which can be a pain when your dog wants to wander around and can’t, and B. I’m now on my second lead as my first one broke after 2 months, the stitching on the retractable lead section completely gave way which could’ve been dangerous if it happened while we were around a reactive or unfriendly dog

The lock/ unlock is a bit of a mess around but all in all fairly good

Ok the lock is fiddly and the lead can catch if pulled to quickly

Excellent lead, substantial and quite heavy. Unlike other reviews I find the locking mechanism easy to lock and unlock. My only criticism is that it's quite large for my 3.5 kg yorkshire terrier ( but that's totally my fault in not checking sizes before I purchased) the clasp part to fit onto his harness is almost the size of his head 🤣. All in all very happy with it.

Holds my 50kg Dobermann so problem, didn't rust even after being filled with seawater and great value. Takes a while to get a hang on the lock but once you get into the habit it's super easy

Snapped 2nd time I took the dog for a walk, had to buy another 1, would not recommend
