Excellent value once sized properly!
First of all, as a first-time corset-wearer, I’d like to say that this is the most comfortable piece of “lingerie” I have ever worn in my life. Boning is supportive but not too stiff and is sewn in very well and the underwire is covered with a very soft material. The straps are extra wide so they don’t dig in to your shoulders, which is nice for someone with a larger bust to support, and they have a nice elastic part on the back which helps them adjust and rest gently also. They’re also positioned so they don’t cut into your underarms and give you that awful “armpit bulge.” The material looks surprisingly nice, and the stitching is well done also.I knew sizing would be awkward because I have a hard time fitting into traditional S-XL tops. I have a slim/athletic build but a large bust for my frame (32DD) so typically I stick with medium for tighter-fitting items. In this instance I thought it would be appropriate to size up to a large, considering reviews and photos of the cup sizes, and the fact that the laces on the back are fully adjustable. In general I think I made the right choice, however I have to fully tighten the laces (and I mean fully - the material on the back overlaps when laced up) and it still just “fits” and doesn’t contort my natural shape. I would have liked it to be a little tighter, which makes me think a medium would’ve been a better size - however - the cups are quite small, even for a large. I would have been overflowing in anything even slightly smaller, hence the “runs too small” rating. So, with my awkward sizing, I think I made the best choice ordering a large. (FYI, according to the measurements on the page, I should’ve ordered a small.)The negatives: the cups give you a strange shape and are very rigid. I’m sure this is pretty typical of any corset, but I have a feeling it’s a stitching issue with this one in particular. For some reason there is a very thick seam under the stitch that forms the two pieces of the cup. Another drawback is that the underwire of the bra is not supported by the boning in the torso, so it kind of bunches over underneath. It’s not terribly unsightly, but I could see it getting worse after wearing it for a longer period of time. Other than that, I’m EXTREMELY happy with this $19 purchase, and the few small drawbacks are absolutely worth it for the price. I was definitely not expecting something that fit like a glove or looked like I paid $200 for it, so overall I am VERY happy with the quality and fit, and definitely recommend purchasing after taking some time to figure out sizing.

Beautiful!
This piece is absolutely stunning. I've bought corsets in the past and consistently the 6X is what fits me. I haven't lost any weight since the last one I bought, and I never go by the sizing guidelines, just by experience. However, this 6X ran a bit big. It had to be cinched all the way down before it was the right fit. I could probably go down a size, but I'm not going to risk it, lol. I didn't take any pics of it without the wing piece but believe me, it's beautiful. The negative: I HATE the front clasps of this thing. I had the laces loosened all the way out, put it on and clasped the front. As my husband was tightening the back (I don't think you can really get this one and tightened to its full capacity without help) a couple of the ones in the front came undone. Now, this is not a problem for me because I'm wearing the lace/wing part over it, so you can't even tell that one of the brackets isn't closed. We tried and tried to get it back to a closed position, but just as soon as you get one to connect, another one pops open. Grrr! That said, I'll go back to my original assessment that this is a beautiful piece. The sleeves are a bit long on me, but sleeves always are since I have short little arms. Definitely go up a couple of sized from what you might normally wear. I'm 5'1" weight about 190 and usually wear an 18 in women's clothing. As I said, the 6X is a little roomy. If I was wearing this alone, I might go a size down to support the girls a little tighter. I like how the laces in the back meet in the middle so you can cinch down the top half and bottom half independently. This piece is VERY white. I actually had a really hard time finding the accessories to go with it because of the bright white coloring. However, my accessory pieces were the same shade of off white so it all tied in together.Sorry for the long review, but I want to give my honest feedback for anyone looking for just the right thing. It's nice to have plus-size options for a look like this!

Pretty but too small
I am a 14 and the measurements provided indicated I was a 3X which should fit a 14/16. However, even with the ribbon fully extended in the back this was still 5 inches too small to even begin zipping it up. It's very pretty and seems well made but the sizing is off. Also, came in a package folded in half so it took a week to flatten it out again before I could even try it on. The boning was completely bent in half.

Very Bad Fit
This is the second try with these "corsets"... and I am returning this one as well. Buyer beware! I am normally in a size 4/6 with an athletic build and a 28 inch waist. I had previously purchased another similar corset that came with a skirt in a size small 4/6 and it was unbelievably TINY, even with the laces pulled ALL the way to the limit I still could not get it to fit around my body! So after reading more reviews, I sent that one back and purchased this one in a LARGE US-womens 8/10 and felt pretty certain that it would fit fine. Nope! I still had to loosen the laces on the back nearly completely which ruined how it looked from the back, and then was BARELY able to get the cheaply made clasps to close up at the front ... nevermind breathing! Just ridiculous as these apparently are made for toothpicks and not actual humans. I don't see how anyone is able to wear them correctly. On top of that one of the clasps fell off as I was trying it on so.... again, save your sanity and shop elsewhere for a better "corset".
