Works great, especially if your DVD player is at the top like most. It may block some sight of display, but most cars today have steering wheel buttons that control the console. Very easy to install & makes viewing & using extremely convenient. Bought 2 - Love them - little to No vibration at all.

Not great, not horrible
I actually ordered the CD player mount but was incorrectly shipped the suction mount instead. I ended up keeping since shipping back would've just been a hassle. This particular mount is just ok. No matter how good of a grip to the windshield it seems to have it still jiggles a little. Also, the magnet is not quite strong enough for the iPhone 7 plus.

Works well but has room for improvement
The Sorker CD slot phone mount worked well. It didn't stay tight in the slot thought and I ended up having to adjust it once a month or so. This isn't a big deal, but something I thought I would take note of. The magnet was strong, but not as strong as some I have used in the past. I drive several miles of gravel each day and my phone would occasionally bounce off. For most people I don't expect this would be an issue. If you ever use your CD player you would not want to use this. It isn't an easy slip in and out type mount. It does anchor fairly securely but take a bit to do so. Because of how my CD player is placed on my dash, the phone on the mount obstructed some of the radio buttons as well. This isn't really the fault of Sorker, but an certainly an inconvenience.Things I like: - Phone closer and easier to use than on the windshield - Easy to place phone with magnet - Found a good use for my CD Slot that had stopped functioningThings I didn't like: - Did not keep the phone from rotating and sliding on mount - Rough roads could not phone off - Obstructed some of my radio controls - Needed adjusted in the CD slot every month or twoIf you are looking for an inexpensive mount to make use of a CD slot this will work. I am not aware of better options out there, but in the future I may just avoid CD slot mounts all together. Value wise, this worked well and did what I needed.

One of those items you can not go without after having it!
Use this on the daily and it is hard to imagine not having it anymore. I have easily removed it from the CD slot at times and do not enjoy going back to having my phone "float" around in my car without this.

Works as described, but not an ideal configuration and I feel it could cause damage easily
This works OK as a mounting location, but when you install you need to realize that your CD player slot is not really designed to have something jammed in and expanded to hold your device. Technically it works, but I could see this causing damage to the CD player if you over tighten it, accidentally smack it with your hand, or just by wear and tear over time. Also if you use this you will either have your phone (or magnet thing) sticking up blocking the radio screen, or you will have a thumb screw sticking up, and for my radio it blocks important buttons I use all the time. I got it because it was cheap and I was hard pressed to find a spot to mount my backup camera screen. I ended up scrapping this one and using the air vent version and sticking it onto the side of my ash tray that pulls out.

Worked for 2 weeks.....
Worked for about 2 weeks and then started falling out of the cd slot. It doesn't matter how tight it is it will make its way out and fall out. Not recommend at all.
