We are fans of the brand and this was the first time seeing or buying these bars. My son has been working alot of 12 hr shifts and doesn't eat. Now he uses these as his lunch snack to hold him until he gets home. He says they provide about 4 hrs of satiety if you are moving constantly. He gave one to a coworker who really enjoyed the taste and he said it helped curb his hunger for several hours as well. The bars are thick, taste good and don't cause a sugar rush. I want to say the texture is sort of like a thick rice crispy treat. It is chewy. We will keep buying these.

I love these bars! Great taste, great texture, not too dry like most vegan bars. Everyone in my family eats them (vegan and non-vegan alike). As someone who struggles to put on weight, it’s nice to find protein bars that aren’t 180 calories. The only issue is that the peanut butter ones sometimes are actually the cookie dough ones in the wrong packaging. Not a big deal to me since those are my two favorite flavors, but might be a problem for someone else.

The Peanut Butter Chocolate ProBar Base is the best tasting food bar out there - hands-down. This is the bar for you if you're sick of bars with the texture of saw dust, taste like pressed mushy cereal and/or don't fill you up. The closest comparison is the Luna Nutz Over Chocolate bar - if you like those, you will *love* the PBC ProBar Base - and feel like you have gotten more of a meal. As someone who is on a plant-based / vegetarian diet and prefers organic food, the Base bar is a fantastic way to get my daily minimum of protein. Goes especially great with coffee - this can be an addictive combination! We get them by the case and my wife and son eat them all the time too. A little expensive, but totally worth it!!

These used to be really good. The last two times we have purchased them (even trying different flavors), they have been hard and very dry. They require significant force to bite to the point that my son hurt one of his teeth. Would not recommend at all!

My husband and I keep these 20 gram protein bars on hand to help replace a meal or tide us over to a meal. We are both careful about our weight, and I'm a vegan. These bars meet our needs. They aren't a candy bar and delicious. They are tasty enough for us, satisfying and keep us going when we need it. We are probably on our 8th box over the past year.

Taste is amazing and crunchy. A good source of protein supplement snack for tea or coffeebreak.
