bit harder than expected
I bought an ammo box at a national box store. They did not have the locks and there order was going to take awhile for the store to receive them. The directions are simple. However, where they want you to drill the hole (center) will not line up when the box is being closed. PLEASE lay it out and try to close the box before you drill. You will find that it does make a difference. Mine is great. Glad I took the time and thought before I followed their directions.

Easy to install
I bought these to install on a 50Cal Ammo can to be used as a toolbox on my 5'x8' trailer. Simple to install and worked perfectly to make the can lockable. Couldn't be more pleased.

not the easiest to install
bought a set and two cans. Definitely a learning curve. I do pretty good around the shop and even i managed to fudge up the first one.However, these are pretty forgiving, I had to bore out the hole a little to side, but the rubber seal really helps correct any minor errors. No discredit to the product, its not their fault I couldn't get it right.Once installed, I love it.

Fits best on actual GI cans
Installation takes a little more work when you're putting them on they offshore manufactured ammo can the actual GI units the hole in the handle is perfectly sized

I needed thee to install on my ammo cans to make them safe and lockable. Now I can store my—erm—not ammo in them 😂
