These are not high quality, but good enough for general shop use. Do not use these on your knives unless you don’t care how they look. I guess for the price they are ok. I won’t buy them again, but I’m particular.Update: After the first belt problems with tracking and wobbling, I tried the other belts and they were great. They tracked properly and left a clean surface. I’m using my review to 4 stars only because first belt was bad. I’ll be ordering more.

I was really weary about these at first. The price was great and and the reviews were mixed. However, after days of grinding I can say these are very worthy belts! So worthy I am totally stocking up on them! I grinded various types of metal mostly tool and carbon steel. These belt not only eat the metal but my finishes are wonderful! I highly recommend these belts to anyone. Get these belts! 5 knives and 4 days later these belts are still like new! Well done!

Ive been a custom bladesmith for 10 years now and for the last 4 years I've been a customer of red label abrasives. The last 5 orders of belts I've received have been less than sub parts. The belts might stay sharp for a knife or two but then quikly dull, snap or fray to the point where it is dangerous to continue using. Bear in mind I only use my belt sander on forged unealed steel. No wood touches my belt sander or the belts as wood clogs the belts fast. In my honest oppinion I'd say the quality has severely diminished in the last year or so. And if I were you I'd save up a couple of extra bucks and either order from Phoenix abrasives or even combat abrasives. Your money will go further.

The belt themselves are good. They're consistent and of good quality. They just wear out too fast on my machine with the steels I use. Other belts that I have bought seem to last longer. I imagine they would last fine for wood or composite work, not that great for grinding cutlery steels.

These belts are awesome. They last forever. I had been using the “orange” ceramic belts, but these seem to outlast those other belts by 2-3 times

I started using these because I don’t know any better. I’m just trying my hand at knife making. So far these work great. I have some Norton blaze belts that I paid a lot for. Good belts also. These belts for the price are great.

I wanted to really like these belts and order more, but I haven't been completely happy with their performance. For instance, they do remove metal very well and seem to last a long time... however 4 of the 6 belts I ordered (premium course grit ceramic set) tracked horribly. I don't know if they were glued together or cut properly, but they really did track bad which would cause humps and dips in my grind lines. They were very frustrating to work with.The ones that did track well worked very well and would be a good buy if there was consistency w/ the product.(Update) I just realized that they sent me the wrong set as well.... I didn't get the "premium set" I got the standard course grit set. Ugh... dropped down to 1 star for this as well. Maybe that explains why they don't track well....

Top notch customer service. Based on MY uses the zirconia belts work better for me than the ceramic for grinding knives. Do not hesitate to order from red Label Abrasives, great company and very prompt to answer questions and concerns.

Arrived quite quickly and a way ahead of the estimated date. The seams are nicely done and smooth so you can sharpen blade side up. It is well worth it to spend a bit more and get a superior product.

3 belt inside the package where crack because of the tight curve during packing.Or maybe to old Hope they will last :(
