Spigen Tough Armor Case Compatible with Google Pixel 5 (2020) - Black

I've had the Spigen Tough Armor for the Pixel 3XL, 4XL and now the 5. It has always been my favourite case as it offers protection without the bulk of some other cases. These are my thoughts on the latest version:- The latest version has a welcome improvement. The power button is now slightly lower than the volume buttons so it is even easier to distinguish between the power and volume buttons without looking. This was always an annoyance for me on previous versions- Unlike a lot of other cases the USBC port doesn't cut into your finger when holding the phone as the edges are rounded and comfortable, unlike older Rugged Armor cases have done- The blue has a slightly slicker finish compared to the black but it isn't what I'd call slippery- The fingerprint scanner is recessed, due to the thickness of the back to accommodate the foam, but once you get used to it the swipe down action is fine- The kickstand is still very solid and doesn't rattle when housed in the caseThe Pixel 5 is the perfect size which means I can now use a protective case like this without it feeling unweildy.

My partner bought a Spigen Tough Armour case for her new iPhone SE and we were very impressed with the fit and quality, so when I purchased a Pixel 5 phone the decision of which case to get for it was easy. The case fits perfectly and protects the phone extremely well. It does add quite a bit of bulk and weight but that doesn't bother me as I find it is easier to pick it up and hold with the case on. The only downside is that the fingerprint reader cutout doesn't work for me. I suspect that it has more to do with my finger than the case and might not be a problem for others. I also purchased a pack of two Spigen AlignMaster glass screen protectors at the same time and they fitted perfectly first time, as expected. Overall I am extremely pleased with my Spigen purchases.

I always buy Spigen phone cases as they are great quality and protect your phone really well. They're like the 'Ronseal' of phone cases 😉

Bought a couple of cases for Google pixel 5 but this one feels so classy and is tough too. Very sleek and the clip comes out and is a great stand.

Product is sturdy provides great all round protection, and comes with a genius flip stand. Love my new case. Looks great. ZERO problems with the fingerprint reader like other sausages fingered reviewers.

I used the older version of the Spiegen Tough Armor case on my Pixel XL for two years. As somebody with Tourette's, I can vouch that it stands up incredibly well for the price.Regarding this case, the addition of the shock-absorbing foam is a welcome addition! I've only dropped it once or twice so far but performance is exemplary. The new materials also mean I don't have the same fingerprint/hand grease issue I had with my old Tough Armor case. The only downside is it appears the kickstand is the same, and will likely snap off, which also happened on my old case.

Love It, not as chuncky as I thought it would be, nice quality and protection and the kickstand is very helpful!
