This vest is a slim fit. I've seen reviews telling you to get a size bigger, don't unless you're a big guy. Just understand that slim fit is exactly that. I wanted a tailored, well fitted vest and that's just what this is. Regarding the fabric, it's nice, a good weight to it, and the craftsmanship is good. The styling is also very good and works as casual or formal. I have another black vest that feels kind of fragile compared to this. This feels good to wear. At this price you would be had pressed to find a better deal. This is my new "Go to" vest, I'm very happy with it.

I had to return it because it was too small. Buy one size larger than you need. The quality seemed okay.

I bought a black vest, but I returned it due to a small, production snag (also a little too tight - "Slim Fit"). The vendor allowed a free return, so I swapped it for another - also got a larger size = one size up from normal - it's "Slim Fit" and my fit is no longer "slim."Nice material . I purchased it to keep in a box labeled "Final [my] Funeral Clothes." I hope whoever finds me/goes through my stuff will ensure I'm dressed in this vest when my pine box is lowered into my grave at the historic Oak Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches, TX. I intentionally selected/bought/was given, Plot #13 in the new addition of that cemetery. Hope I make it there in original form and don't otherwise get burned up in some incinerator/dumped into the trash.The fabric is folded in the package and requires a couple of handheld steams to get it flattened out. I'd buy another one, if I needed one - but not required (an early EOL). The vendor provided fast/friendly support messages and I encountered no problems with the sale/swap out. 5-stars! I have never in my life worn a vest with suits except on those occasions when I was tapped to stand up at a wedding -- I believe a total of three or four times. And for the last 13 years I lived in Los Angeles, where temperatures and the culture of the entertainment industry boiled down to, "If it has sleeves it's good enough for work -- and sleeves are negotiable." Since I moved back East, however, things have formalized again, and I've felt the need to up my game at my day job. I believed acquiring some vests was the best way to do this, and it turned out I was right. These vests from Coofandy -- I've bought four so far -- are exactly what I wanted them to be.Buying clothing on Amazon is daunting because, obviously, you can only do much with size charts. I was anxious about this purchase, but the fit was perfect. To aid you in your own quest: I bought the large size. My own measurements/sizes are: I'm 5'11", 190, 42R suit jacket, 34 - 35" waist. Fairly fit, carrying above-average muscle, but a little soft in the middle (coughs). And this vest fit perfectly. It was snug but not tight, it held a really good shape, and, most importantly, flattened the line of my lower back so all those YouTube videos I watched in quarantine about how to get better glutes are not going to waste when I take off my suit jacket.The vest has five buttons and a false breast pocket with a sewn-in strip of white cloth that resembles a tucked-away pocket square. It has two waist pockets suitable for a watch and chain: a real one for the watch, and a largely fake one (one small opening) for the chain holder. I know this to be true because I actually rock a pocket watch and it fit just fine, both ends: however, if you don't use a watch the real pocket with snugly fit keys, change, or what have you of that general size. In back, it has the usual tightener with a buckle, but I didn't need it. The interior lining is satiny.The wonderful thing about these vests is that they can be worn sans suit/sports jackets to up your game from shirt-and-tie-and-khakis without going all the way to a suit,, or matched with your own sports jackets/suit coats based on color. I have gotten a lot of compliments on them.The only drawback I can see in these vests is that Coofandy has a limited color range. I believe they come in black, navy blue, wine red, khaki-tan, light and dark gray. No hard brown, medium blue and no -- I regard this as a big omission -- green. But aside from this, I'm very pleased and may end up buying nearly all of them.

I wear a 42 long dress jacket, so I order the medium. Way to small. Returned and ordered Large. Still way to small. These are for young men who don't have ANY build to them. Otherwise they are nice looking. I am 6 ft tall and weigh 185.

My son wanted a vest to wear to high school dance and this is the one we settled on after reading a bunch of reviews and doing cost comparing. It was worth the effort, this is a nice vest. Classy looking, comfortable, sized as advertised. Overall. very happy with purchase.

I would have given 5 stars but the right side hip pocket stitching tore inside the pocket on the first day with minimal use.

Great fit. Very classy and comfortable. Important to mention that measurements should be taken fully clothed in order to select the proper size. Comes with 1 extra button.

Fits as stated. Proper length for a suit. Stitching is not great. Hook loop fell off as soon as weight was put on it. Lower pockets were sewn partly shut. On pocket wasnt fully stitched leaving a hole in the bottom. Would probably buy again
