QualGear QG-AM-017-W Mount for Apple TV/AirPort Express Base Station (For 2nd & 3rd Generation Apple TVs) White

Apple no longer makes these products so they're hard to find new, and expensive when you can find one. Occasionally, I'll need to reboot it when signal strength falls and limits network speed. I have several wi-fi devices (streaming box, smart hubs) and needed to move my aging AirPort Express a little further from my Roku to avoid signal interference. This is a perfect fit, and includes mounting hardware including screws and drywall anchors. My only suggestion would be to include a double-sided tape mount in the package.

I did not know what generation Apple TV I have. I only know it is a 4K. I ordered one to make sure it fit. It fits great. You can mount on the TV or the wall. I am ordering more for my other TVs. Thank you QualGear.

After researching a number of mounts at varying costs, this looked to be the best value. What I liked most about this is that it didn't rely on wall penetrations or existing screw holes in the TV or the mount; it allows all of those options to give you the maximum flexibility. They provide all the hardware, including screws and washers, for the myriad of options. I installed easily behind my flatscreen and mounted onto the railings/mounts so I didn't have to search for holes or drill new ones in my wall to install my AppleTV. For this installation, I could've used the machine screws that were included, but there was no nut to hold in place. Not a big deal bc I had a lot of spares; just something to think about. Highly recommend -- great value and functionality for the price.

I needed to get a sound box cleaned up, it was super cluttered and just wasn't good for keeping things running smoothly during meetings. This little guy allowed me to mount the AppleTV in the cabinet below the mixer and keep the clutter a bit more at bay. It is made of plastic, not something evident by the photos but at this price point who can expect more. Further on the "it's plastic" line of thinking is that, again, who cares because it isn't like this is going into battle. It will happily sit mounted wherever you so desire, unless you're removing and re-installing the AppleTV constantly it wouldn't matter.One thing though, the screws provided to mount directly to a hard surface (wooden cabinet) leave much to be desired. They are cheap and even with the correct bit are easy to bore out (seriously hate phillips head screws), if you can locate another type of screw (square drive or something), use those instead.

The QualGear Mount was just what I was needing. I purchased an AppleTV for use on a stage monitor at our church, but needed a way to keep the ATV hidden. This mount fit the bill perfectly. The ATV clips nicely into it, and with the screws that came with it, I was able to mount it into one of the VESA holes on the back of the TV. So nothing is hanging loose on this monitor that we have on the stage (most people don't even realize the ATV is even there now). Also the plastic this is made out if is not thin and cheap and appears will hold up to inserting and removing the AppleTV as much as needed. Highly recommended!

I purchased this to have a place to rest my Apple tv by an television that is suspended on the wall. I had a similar mount that held the appleTV horizontal under the Television so that the remote could have line of sight (which it must have). This mount must be screwed into a wall or ceiling and can also be suspended on the TV mount (behind the tv).I just wish we were given more choices, I'm forced to suspend on a wall with 3 wires in plain view. Seems that one hole for a screw in back combined with some velcro or 3m hanging tape would be plenty secure but 4 holes in the wall, is our option. It works and secures the appleTV in place but I think if I purchase one in the future, I'll seek one that fits neatly under the television and leaves no damage if it's moved.

Perfect mounting option for airport express. It might be nice if it was transparent and colorless, but I knew that going in and can’t fault it.

Bought to replace a much flimsier item that had broken after a few years of use. This is much more impressive. I wall mounted it in the same spot as the older one, but could have mounted it several different ways due to the comprehensive set of hardware provided. It fits the older type of Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generations) or the later type of Airport Express, for which there is also a white coloured variant.

Aunque sería interesante y pertinente que venga con una plantilla para facilitar, está fácil de instalar y el Apple TV cabe perfectamente. Tiene buena relación calidad-precio.

This Airport Express Base Station wall/under desk mount is simple and effective. Could be a bit cheaper but not bad for the price.

Funciona muy bien y ensambla perfectamente, solo que adhesivo que viene no es de calidad, compre otro y perfecto. Queda oculto detrás de la tv, yo lo tengo en la cocina y 👍🏼
