Stay cold longer than I expected.
I was pleasantly surprised by how long these things keep their coolth. It's not as long as a larger cold pack would, obviously, but it's really long enough for one bout of icing, and having 5 of them means that I can always take another if I want one before the first has had time to chill all the way.In fact, I usually keep packs like this in the freezer, but with these, I wanted to be able to use them (carefully) on my eye, so they live in the fridge. I didn't have much hope that they'd stay cool for much longer than it took me to get back to my desk and sit down, but even at the warmer temperature, I've found them pretty effective. The paper/fabric backing is nice, but I can't call these especially comfortable, just because the edges are hard and harsh. But they're not that bad and the gel itself stays flexible and nice even when it's very cold.

Great for smaller areas
I loved how this product was easy to use and I was able to carry it anywhere. I used it on my face and it was the perfect size and it overall just worked well for me. I have not used it as cold but for the warmth it’s great!

Quick to get cold; also quick to lose it
I've only used this for cooling thus far.I like the size of them; very flexible and useful in smaller spaces - and if you don't want it to be visible. Can go easily under clothes. They are flexible even when cool to mold to the body. And they have yet to leak. They seem sturdy and safe. They also get cold very quickly, probably less than an hour. However, they also lose cold just as quickly - probably after about 15-20 minutes. Given that it's likely best not to have have cold on you so long, that might be for the best.Again, haven't tried them for heating, so dunno if they operate the same that way. They work for what I bought them for - and so many make it easy to always have a few at hand

Easy to use
10 seconds in the microwave and they are ready to use -- provides about 10 minutes of warmth.

Hot Pack
My eye doctor prescribed a heat pad along with medications. I ordered this item and received it on the third day. - Meanwhile...I needed to treat an eye stye located under my upper eye lid, with ten minutes of heat several times a day. I started with a warm water wash cloth - Bulky, wet, drippy. I had to reheat it every two to three minutes. When the heat pad I ordered showed up, I heated it in my microwave for twelve seconds (ten recommended) - It got pretty warn. I wrapped it in a Kleenex folded twice and changed it after every use. This gel hot pad stayed warn pretty well beyond the ten minutes of use. It did not drip. No wetness. Nice! I recommend it.A stye takes many days to 'heal.' A stye is a blockage of a drain of eye fluids. Allowing time to heal is important. You should be patient.

Great for warm or cold relief.
I am so happy to have found these little hot/cold packs. I had periodontal surgery almost a year ago that left me with painful scarring and severe nerve damage. I am on medication for the nerve damage, but it only helps some. In search of some relief, I found these packs. So far, I have only used them warm, placing in microwave for 10 seconds is enough to heat it up and it will stay warm for about ten or so minutes, which is perfect for my needs. This provides amazing relief for my nerve pain in my chin. The size is perfect. A word of caution, keep a very close eye on these when microwaving. I accidentally left one in the microwave for 20 seconds and it looked like it was ready to burst and was scorching hot. Overall, these are amazing, especially for the price. I am back to purchase another set to keep on hand.

Very Thin & Really Small
These ice packs are way too thin. I have a rare inflammatory nerve disease so I use ice packs 24/7. I also recommend injury, recovery, and chronic disease management products to our groups. Many people who require daily use of therapeutic ice packs have sleeves sewn into the linings of their hats, tops, and jackets too, this means each pack must last 2-4 hours. This product would need to be at least .50"H× 4.50" W×4.50"D with a more dense ice gel combination for it to be an option. This product only stays cool 15-20 minutes. Not enough to serve any real therapeutic purpose at all.
