Airso Super Quality 10-inch Bladeless Cooling Oscillating Pedestal Table Fan /, Gray Blue

I got back home from serving in Italy for 2 years last June. Right when I got home, I saw the commercial for a bladeless fan and I had to see the bladeless air multipliers in a local retail store. I wanted one because they looked trendy and I always have to have a nifty gadget. I was bound to buy one.... until I saw the pricetag! I could not imagine paying 300 dollars for the Dyson model, and that was just for the "desktop fan" model. I could not justify me blowing that much money for a fan. So I left dissappointed, and telling myself that I'll get one when the price came down. Fast forward 6 months later. I am attending training and having to live in an apartment where the thermostat was pumping heat non-stop. I decided to hop on amazon because I NEEDED a fan! I first searched the dyson to see if they had come down in price, and then this Airso fan came up and had a lot of positive reviews. I decided to take a gamble with the "off-brand" and I am really glad I did. I bought the blue because it was the only one in stock, I wanted the green :( oh well. It comes in a very small box and I almost threw out the remote control. It was hidden by being taped to a flap! There is litte set-up time. All you do is put the white triangle to the back and twist to the lock position. You turn it on and let the magic begin. It blows very smooth and there is an adjustable speed function. You customize how much breeze you need. It oscillates also and this is controlled on the base of the unit or the remote control. I would have liked to see a customizable oscillate knob or setting on the remote, but it's not a deal killer. It does oscillate faster than a normal fan, taking about 10 seconds to go from 0 degrees to 90 and back. The fan also tilts up or down from the middle to get that setting that you want. It is a little pricey, but if your a gadget geek, you'll love this fan.

I get warm at night and always like a small fan blowing a bit of a breeze my way. Now this is a bit bigger than what I was envisioning but it is still small enough to fit on my night stand together with all my other things. It is very adjustable, up/down left right and has the oscillating function that works fine. Since I use it at night mostly i have it on the low setting and it works perfectly, at this setting is not noisy, just enough white noise to help you sleep.Now on full blast, if you turn it all the way up it is much louder but I am not sure if is louder than any other fan at full blast.I have not been using the remote so really cannot say anything about it, as I said is on my night stand so I reach and press the button on/off.My only gripe about it is the blue light emitted from the power button, is very bright and do not really like it since is very close to my face. I just block it with the tv remote, one of this days I will get a black market and black it out.Overall I really like this fan and it is much more economical than the competitor.

I love it. It is by far the coolest looking fan I've ever bought. Remote control gives it a functionally cool style point. And it is so much simpler to use than a traditional blade fan. I don't think the pricier Dyson comes with a remote. It really blows a lot of air for its size as well. I am very pleased. I've read that some of its competitors are ridiculously loud. This one is not too loud at all. It is much quieter than a fan with blades of similar diameter. I have only had it for a couple of weeks so I can't tell you how well it is made yet, but as for form and function I love it so far. Gray and blue look so cool anywhere in the house. Here are the how-to's: To tilt just give it a nudge forward or back. Remote will control wind speed, on/off and enable/disable oscillating. Remote is the size of a credit card. Remote doesn't light up, but there is a cool blue indicator light on the front of the fan to let you know it is on. Assembly is very simple just press the circle down onto the base and twist once and done. No nuts, no threads, no blades, no tools. Maintenance includes wiping the vents on the base with a dry cloth from time to time. I hope to have this one for a long time.

I bought this fan and was very excited. I knew from other reviews it wouldn't be as quiet as a Dyson, but it would at least be quieter than a fan with blades. The problem was I planned to use this fan in my bedroom and the noise level was great. It was a nice level of white noise. For some reason though, they thought that they should put a bright blue light under the orange-tinted plastic of the power button. This let off way too much light and made it unusable in the bedroom. I was also annoyed that the remote only had a range of about four feet, so that didn't help it either. In the end, I had to return it.

Most of the reviews said it was to loud, used an old DB meter to check it out and it's about the same as other fans I have. One thing for sure it a higher pich sound than other fans. It works very well and looks kinda cool, I like it.

At first this item was great. but having it for not even a year, the fan stopped oscillating and seemed to be a bit louder than the dyson fan which is suppose to be comparable to this one.

Had to send it back. The quality of the product was great except it was so noisy. I wanted something I could have on at night, but it was even too loud for my office. Disappointed.

The fan is quite loud. Also once you place the top part of fan on lower part I could not get it in the locked position. So it remains unlocked. Otherwise happy with it
