INSTEAD IT IS THOUGHT THAT IT (MELATONIN) JUST REGULATES THE SLEEPING CYCLE. I SLEEP ABOUT 7-9 HOURS STRAIGHT AND WHEN I AWAKE IN THE MORNING I DON'T HAVE THE MORNING GROGGINESS I USED TO GET WHEN TAKING OTHER OVER THE COUNTER SLEEP AIDS. I FEEL RESTED AND READY FOR THE DAY!
