I love this litter scoop. Purchased it because my automatic litter box left small bits of used litter behind. This scooper is able to sift both large and small particles left with keeps the litter box clean longer.

This is litter-ally the only scoop I'll buy/use. The large slots are perfect for your standard scoop needs and the small holes are essential for catching all those pesky little bits. (You especially know what I'm talking about if you've got a dog that's especially fond of kitten nuggets.) It's also large enough to be useful for bigger boxes and it's sturdy. Any time I manage to break one, I order two more to make sure I don't have to use any other scoop. 😅

The scoop was bigger than I expected, which is my fault. It didn’t have any smell when I opened the package. Although the scoop’s depth is great, the holes allow litter—particularly the pee-clumped litter—to fall through, which is a bit disappointing. However, it was the best option available in terms of scoop hole sizes at the time I ordered it (years ago). The scoop is very sturdy and easy to clean, but it is somewhat heavy, though not so much that it becomes unusable.

One of my cats is a diabetic and he drinks a lot of water, which makes him pee alot. So much so that the urine does not sink in to the litter. The poor little guy gets frustrated and tries to cover it. He ends up scratching the wet litter so much that I am left with small pebble sized lumps of litter. I tried every scooper and none worked. The pebbles just fell through the openings in the scooper. Then I found the Fresh Step All In One. It was and still is a miracle. The scooper is designed to capture the small bits that other scoopers leave behind. The price is great as well. I keep a few on hand for backup. Give it a try.

This review is for the litter scoop only. It's the one I see pictured, not the blue one. Mine had the (inert) triggers on the handle and a metal ring at the end for hanging. This scoop is exactly what I was hoping for - it has three sections: the front edge has no holes for picking up chunks. The middle section is all small holes and works perfectly for getting the tiny, used litter separated from the good stuff, and the rear section is the typical scoop for catching the big pieces. The only thing this scoop needed to be perfect is rounded corners on the front edge. You can see it's very square/pointed. I've never owned a litter box with square corners (they don't make them that way for good reason). It was difficult to get the scoop into the corners and as you know, that's where cats love to pee. So I took a utility knife and file and rounded the corners. NOW it's perfect. UPDATE Aug 2022: I bought another one of these in case they stop making it. You know how you find a product you love and they discontinue it or "Improve/upgrade" it to the point where it becomes junk? I have one waiting for the day that happens. But this thing is rugged so I don't expect to ever need it. I sleep better at night knowing I have a backup 😄

I looked all over online trying to find a litter scoop that had small holes in it. Most scoops have wide slots, which is fine if the litter clumps hold together. But when they break, the little pieces fall through the big holes. This scoop catches the little pieces in the front half, and the back half has wider slots for more solid clumps. It takes a little shaking to sieve the litter through the little holes, but it's worth the effort to me since the litter is staying cleaner. The curved handle doesn't bother me. I'll buy another as a backup the next time I do an Amazon order.

Bought this scooper in sept. 2025 it worked great, loved the handle. Nov 12th the scoop cracked at the base before the handle. So now after 3 months I'll have to purchase another litter scooper.

Finally, a scooper that will actually sift everything, tiny or large! Litter is too expensive to be changing out litter boxes due to small "debris". This works so well, I just bought a 2nd one (litter box on each floor). It is sturdy, and you can use the deep back half of the scoop for the larger pee-balls, but the front half will really capture everything tiny. Gone are the days of wasting litter, or taping shut some of the openings on prior scoopers. So glad someone who actually knows what it's like to scoop cat litter designed something practical. Very sturdy, too.

Me costó encontrar un buen recogedor que no dejara residuos en la arena. Este cumple con ese objetivo. Es grande y te ayuda a agilizar. Lo que sí recomendaría, sería tener cuidado al tirar los desechos, ya que algunas partículas pueden colarse entre los orificios y se caen al suelo. Procuro inclinarlo dentro del arenero para evitar ensuciar.
